You should get sound from the stereo at the very least. I have the same setup and never had problems with sound. But that being said , I like using the stereo over the tv for sound.

Nope no sound just the video. Is there anything with the stereo itself I need to do for sound?

You just have to select the speakers you want to use.

I had a sound problem with my Jensen unit last night. I was playing a Blue-Ray DVD movie on my PS3 and had everything set to play the audio through the Jensen. I was getting all the background sounds but there was no voice when their lips were moving.

Went into the PS3 settings and found it was set to output Dolby 5.1 (as my home theatre is 5.1 and the voices usually play from the Centre speaker). I changed the setting to Dolby 2.0 and then I got all the movie sound track .

Guess the Jensen only supports Dolby 2.0

Try turning volume up on the TV too. When I use Aux 2 to listen to TV thru the Jensen speakers, I set the Jensen volume to around 20 then, adjust total volume using the TV and it's remote.

Just a thought because I've only used the DVD player a couple times and don't remember all the settings.

Blue ray? I'm expecting a satellite with these things. I looked at a 5'er that was 95k, for thst kind of money I'd expect something besides a $100 DVD/radio

My Jensen just keeps spitting the dvd out and pulling it back in, weird. Unscrewed it and took it to the dealer two weeks ago, havn't heard yet. Kinda of a POS if you ask me. It's basically a car audio box. Speakers are really cheezy to, but not much room there to do anything better.
