Fiberglass or exterior gel coat cracks issue

I have a 2013 Forest River Lacrosse touring edition champagne colour 318BHS. We purchased it this past summer brand new and after sitting for the winter we noticed a little over a month ago that the front side (passenger) developed cracks all over it. Everywhere there was a pressure point like a speaker, fan flap, windows, fridge, the whole bottom of the wall all cracking upwards. VERY noticeable on champagne coloured trailer. Has anyone else has any experience or had this happen to theirs? The dealership says it's just the gel coating and the factory has denied warranty twice on it. We r waiting for some rep to come take a look. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Got a pic?...are you talking huge cracks or micro spider cracks?
..seems odd that the factory would deny warranty....prime cs is good....the dealers on the other hand.....well....sometimes not so much....let us know what happens and post up some pics of the cracks so others know what to look for.

Factory denied warranty based on what? Have you contacted PT directly?

I will post some pics once I figure out how lol. The dealership told me the factory said it looked like damage but I'm not sure what pics they sent them. It's clearly a factory problem and that's what the dealership is saying. The cracks are small 6-10" and a couple large ones that go right thru the middle decal. I would say 75 or more cracks. I was hoping to find someone that may have the same problem.

A rep from where?? did you call primetime? Contact the rvguy on this forum he works for pt. I had some small cracking in my gel-coat on my lacrosse and pt had no problem making the repairs.

Rvguy is scarce these days....but a simple call to prime would get to the bottom with a quickness....I bet the dealer never contacted prime or didnt tell em the truth....cant see them not addressing that big of an issue.....??..fact is other than slide wear issue I havent heard of prime NOT woking with customer issues. ...no matter how big or small.......

The rep that's coming is the person who deals with the dealership on behalf of PT. the service manager called me today and said he's behind me. I'm just not sure why it happened and I was thinking maybe they had a bad batch of their gel stuff or something. I was hoping to find other people with same problem.

I wish you luck. Not the same brand, but we're on round 2 of cracks in our front cap and outdoor kitchen door. But, CC is taking care of it without question. With as much cracking as you mentioned, almost sounds like a new side wall, or 2 is possible. Ours was repaired the first time, and looked great, but resurfaced a few months later. So now it's a replacement instead of repair.
