Forest river lacrosse water drain

We have a 2015 Forest River LaCrosse 318BHS, we have had it for a few years and now noticed there are 3 small white faucets like on the drivers side of the trailer where all the hook ups are, but underneath, one says FRESH WATER DRAIN, the other one says LOW POINT DRAIN, we have never used these, and they seem to be clogged, I tried putting a picture of them but don't know how to do it. Can anyone help?. What are these for?. My husband always drains the black water tank first and then the other one to rinse the black tank with, he does this until he sees clear water come out, I am not the one that does it, so this is what I have heard, if he drains both tanks, are these small faucets still need to be used?. Thanks you.

The fresh water drain is so you can drain any left over water out of the onboard fresh water tank. You should do this to periodically sanitize the fresh water tank, drain, refill, drain & refill several times to make sure the tank is sanitary for use.
The LOW POINT DRAIN is there to drain the water out of the trailers plumbing system when you're not using the trailer, put the trailer in storage or just before winterizing the trailer for the winter.
