Does anyone know the GVWR?

3,039 lb.Cargo Capacity

So if you add these 2 numbers you get the GVWR

11,583 lb if my math is OK.

Not sure where you got your numbers.

The 2012 290RLT Touring Edition GVWR is 11,496.

Interesting! we have an earlier edition of the 2012 290RLT TE that is almost 175lbs lighter (we took out the fireplace) and runs on 15" rubber @ 65psi tires! My hitch weight is also quite a bit less... GVWR is about the same, though.

The weight difference may be be due to the additional weight of the larger 16" wheels and tires.

Don't know where they company gets the weights printed on the labels?........I have one of the earlier 2011 models that reads 8283 lbs........took it to a commercial scale and it weighed about 9000 lbs. No water, no stuff, zilch, .......just like it came off the lot.

you have to figure dealer add ons
propane and tanks
battery
possibly microwave
spare tire
etc etc etc

supposedly they weight each unit that comes off the assembly line ... so each camper may have a different weight even if there identical campers.

some one had a pic of a camper running across the scale at the factory .

Yeah you are probably right.............When I was shopping for the one I bought I went down to Lazydaze RV(giant place) just north of Tampa and they have a tag on ALL of their towable RVs that hangs off the hitch and states the EXACT weight of the unit as it sits. I was new to RV shopping at that time and thought all the dealers did this...........not so.
