Has anyone replaced their counters in their crusader?

I love my 296 but my wife hates the counter tops. These are the original dark brown counter tops that show every mark and mark/ scratch very easily. She is begging me to replace the counters this year. Has anyone gone to a home counter top store and replaced their counter top with a different material?

I suspect that anyone one who does counter tops could help. The big box stores have contractors who measure, order and install in homes
