Help with Furnace Ducting

2021 Forest River Prime Time Tracer 24DBS,

i was doing some cleaning and found that my 30,000 BTU Furnace has 4 Round Ducts coming off the heater but i only have 3 Vents in the floor. There are 3 larger ducts i believe are going to those vents but there is a 4th smaller duct that is just laying under the floor but is not connected to anything.

Is there a purpose for this or should it be connected to anything?

Wondering if i should remove it and cap it off at furnace?

Many RVs come with what is advertised as underbelly heating. This is usually simply a small duct as you found that vents into the underbelly. You have three options, 1. Cap it off, 2. add a vent into the living area, 3 leave it where it is. A heated underbelly is effective only in marginally cold areas and only when you heat via the furnace.

Possibly it’s for sending heat to your water/waste compartment to help keep plumbing and/or tanks warm in colder weather?

Just guessing.

Yep, heated underbelly. My2016 PT TracerAir 255 had the same thing.
