Purchased 2013 Crusader 290-RLT in April of 2013. Upgraded the hitch pin to a MorRyde. Board under bed also upgraded from pressboard to nice 5/8 plywood. Added a towel rack behind the toilet and a paper towel holder in the kitchen under the cabinets next to the sink. Will add a hand towel ring and change out fridge fan soon.

Dometic thermostat sure has a wide range (e.g., temp has to drop too much for the furnace to kick on). Adjusted the furnace difference from 2 to 1. We'll see if that helps. Otherwise, tows well and everything is functioning!

Purchased a Prime Time 295rst Crusader in Feb. 2013 tow it with a 2013 F350 Powerstroke and 18K elite reese slider hitch, works good although I found out I didn't really need the slider because the Crusader's front design is good for 88 degree turns in a short box and I have had to jack knife it in some tight corners with no problems.

I pull ours with a 2012 2500 Hemi, I installed a B&W turnover ball with the companion Hitch. The 88 degree turn works well with this setup. Good luck with your unit

Good luck with your 295!. We tow our 295 with a F250 short bed V8 gas and a Pull Rite hitch. Love it!

Stayed in our 2011 crusader 320RLT for the first time this weekend. All went well. Hauled it with our 2006, 2500 GMC 6.6 diesel and it towed like a dream. I will post some pics as soon as I figure out how to down load the camera.

Smile 2012 Crusader 320RLT

Just completed 2600 mile trip. Pulled very well with 2012 Chevy 2500 HD 6.6. Little dolphin problem until filling fresh water to 1/2 for extra weight on pin. Love all the room.

I would love to know otherwise.
Barry, I have been meaning to post this in response to your question but life has been a bit busy since our last discussion. Here is what I was looking for to post to your question. See the attached file - Sanibel "Peace Of Mind". Hope this helps.

We're picking up our new 2014 2640RLS Tracer, Executive Champagne on Sept 20. We've looked at lots of trailers and liked this one the best for our wants. Not many here in CA...hope we made the right choice!!

I'm new to the RV world entirely. this is my very first camper.
I went with a '13 crusader 290rlt. I got it in April and have stayed
in it for a total of 3 and a half months. very happy with it. there are a few little
things that need to be addressed when I take it in for winterization. but all and all,
very happy!

July 2, 2013 picked up our Crusader 320RLT Touring Edition.
Just finished winterizeing this weekend, had a great time with this unit.
all work well, a few minor cosmetic issues, (some screws on the window covers fell out, a small area of ceiling trim bubbled)those will be fixed soon.
Not sure exactly how Prime Time began a sub of Forest River really but I previously owned a Wildcat not one issue with that unit, this unit appears to be well built also.
Forest River/Prime Time has been good to me.
