Any information you could provide about this would be GREAT. I am in the process of trying to arrange a visit back to Indiana to get this dealt with once and for all.

Hi Diesel Mike1.
Congrats on your purchase.
Last year I bought a 2014 295RST and it was right at my maximum weight so the 295RS probably would have suited better but they weren't available at the time.
Just curious as to what sacrifices were made to reduce weight.
Did you look at the 295RST to compare? As I understand they are identical floor plan.

We have a 2015 Sanibel 3601. Just did the deal.
The dealer is storing it for us until April 15th or so. (Weather dependant)

We bought barely used 2014 Crusader 295RST last Fall to replace a Flagstaff 31 ft bumper pull which was stolen. Our first 5th wheel. RV owner since 1977.
2013 GMC 2500 ex cab 6.2 L Turbomax diesel pulls like it's not there.
One concern is hideaway bed. Didn't know when we bought but it's about a foot shorter than a standard length bed. Samaka, is yours full length? What is the deal. Specs say it sleeps 6?

Not sure how it would sleep 6.
I've never seen a 295RST with a sleeper/dinette.
Mine will only sleep 4 short people.
The hideaway is both shorter and narrower than a double.
Around 6 inches shorter and 4 inches narrower.
The main bed is a short queen with my feet dangling over the edge but I suppose sacrifices have to be made to keep the overall length down.
Most RV's say they sleep multiple people but not necessarily comfortably.

We will soon, we hope, take a delivery of a Sanibel 3601. It was suppose to be delivered to the dealer between Feb. 24 and 28 but because of all the snow they are not expecting till between March 5 and 12.

We bought Primetime 39' Sanibel last summer & love it, especially the 20' Refrig. The hydraulic leveling system makes parking so easy. Pull w/2007 Dodge 6.7 Cummins w/Banks goodies added.
