In Wall Slide not working....again

This will I think be the 4th time I am taking it into the dealer because the main slide does not come out, maybe a foot or so and that's it. No error codes on the controller, fully charged and checked out battery. These In Wall Slides are garbage. I have never had more problems than with this one. Of course its out of warranty but maybe they will see I have been bringing it back regularly for the same problem. Also these things move as slow as molasses, at least my main slide does. Hopefully they can fix it.

it works fine for the bedroom slide but I think the main slide is just to much for those motors

Anyone else having issues with the schwintek's

The more I read about the Schwintek slides, the less I like them. I've read of all sorts of issues with them. We have 1 of our 3 slides of this type. Luckily it is only the bedroom slide and should it have an issue it will not impact our ability to camp in our unit.

What solution did your dealer give you on the previous 3 visits? Perhaps this dealer is not well equipped to service them properly.

Maybe RVguy can help. Shoot him a PM and ask if there is anything that can be done.

Only issue I've had with mine is the screws on the metal piece outside around the frame worked loose. Dab of lock-tite and all is good. I will say it doesn't seem like the sturdiest mechanism but a lot of manufacturers use it. Don't really know what the alternative would be since its my bedroom slide.

Thanks for the replies. My bedroom slide has always worked well for me but the problem has always been with the big slide. I have been working with PT on this and I am taking it in tomorrow to the dealer so maybe its just an adjustment but will let you know what they find.
