I've been having issues with my electronic door not locking/unlocking properly. After completely dismantling the door lock mecanism twice, I finally determined that it was caused by their being too much play with the plunger mechanism itself that throws the lock. I took out all the excess space cut out of the styrofoam insulation with wooden shims and a little glue.

Just a heads up to others in case they experience this and maybe a refinement to the manufacturing process.

Did your electronic door try to repeat it's attempt to lock? Our door assembly was replaced because it was dead. When it was replaced it started to "auto lock". FR said it has only lock/unlock operations. They said to reprogram the keypad which means opening up the door to get to circuit board box. I just want to know if the keypad is ok , what else could be wrong.

No. It tried to do what was "commanded" by the keypad. Once I properly aligned the mechanism inside of the door that throws the lock, it worked as advertised.
