Legend TV

We have a 327RES with the Legend TV and it does some weird stuff in my opinion.

It will come on all by itself... During the middle of the night it might come on, when we get back from an outing the TV might be on even if it is stowed behind the FP.

When I change channels there is no sound... It's worse when we are on cable than antenna. You have to fiddle with the volume to get it to come back on.

Any ideas

Thanks

Legend TV

We also have the 327 RES and have not had any problems, everything works as you would expect it. FR says that the reason they don't provide the fireplace remotes any longer is because it causes problems with the TV. Do you have a remote for the fireplace? maybe its causing some troubles. If not I would contact FR if it is still under warranty.

Ours is a late 2014 bought a few months ago so it doesn't have a remote for the fireplace.
First time it did it the tv was stowed, it was the middle of the night and my first reaction was were being broken into into. So with gun in hand I snuck out of the bedroom. Ended up having to raise the TV to turn it off. A lot scared then a lot pissed.

My legend tv pops on about once every trip were out. And it's always in the middle of the freakin night. Wake up and here that thing and your completely baffled. I thought maybe airplane interference or something. I used to have a ceiling fan with a remote that would do the same thing and turn on by itself in the middle of the night. Freaky!

Ours turned on by itself multiple times, hit the volume and the channel would change. I love high quality stuff!

Take the battery out of the remote to see if it helps.

Ours does not come on by itself but the sound sucks..

It has a squawking sound as people are talking...very faint as in DH cannot hear it but we all know most DH cannot hear anyway 😉

If we turn down volume on set and run thru sound bar it is fine - no interference either when fireplace is on

Found mine on once in the year we've owned it. We always have the sound running thru the sound system so, I guess if it should ever come on again, I wouldn't hear it (as long as you turn off the sound system when finished too).
