New 230fbs

Hi All
Just took delivery on a new 2012 230FBS. Picked it up last Saturday.
So far all looks good. Sales rep tells me the TV (it rotates from dining area in to the bedroom/sleeping area) can be removed. Has anyone done this? I don't plan on moving it but I can see the possibility of putting in a swing out mount instead of the mount it is on.
Thanks!

Hi,
I can't answer your question about the TV but wanted to say congrats on your new 230FBS!

I know that some Prime Time tt's have an outside mount for the TV. I'm not sure if yours does or not.
If so, you simply unhook all cnnections and pull the TV up out of the brackett. The outside wall will have one to slide the TV in. It's usually located under the awning about 4' high.
This might be what the salesman was talking about.

Congrats on the new 230! We got ours last November and love it, but don't know of any other 230's on the forum. To answer your question, the TV does lift off the bracket, and can be placed on an identical bracket on the awning side of the trailer after unplugging all the connections. There is an outlet to plug in and a cable connection near the bracket. As far as I know there is no provision to connect into the stereo system so the sound is through the TV speakers only.
Enjoy your new baby

Roamin: Thanks. We are loving ours so far. That's the answer I am looking for. I do know of the mount outside. I was just concerned about lifting the TV off the mount inside as it is such a tight fit there and having to have to put it back. I was thinking about a way for that TV inside to swing out of the box.

On the 230, we hang the TVs in the rotating box AFTER the bracket is installed to make sure you can get it out.
