New Crusader 294 owner with questions

We bought our 2015 Crusader 294 last week and will not be heading out until next month. Two quick questions: Our lounge chairs have to be moved to the rear and turned in order to bring in the slides and the dealer told us no need to strap them down even though straps included. Do other owners strap them? I have never had a pantry in previous campers and am curious to know how cans ride. Any tips appreciated.
We are long time campers (50 years) and are looking forward to our first trip in a Crusader in July with a granddaughter and then a month in Colorado in August. Happy camping all

I just bought the 28RL. I have towed it from Chicago to central PA. I have not tied down either the recliners or the dinette chairs. The recliners are captured by the slidouts and the center end table. Once on bumpy Wisconsin roads the dinette chairs moved. The lip in the pantry contains can goods well. Have not stacked them yet. I would put cans on bottom and boxed and bag goods on top of them. I also have been camping since age 0. 53 years.
