Prime Time HOW TO Video Series

As I mentioned in the prior thread on Component Manuals, we are going to start adding HOW TO videos to our web site. Here's the link to the page and we've got our first one up and running.

http://www.primetimerv.com/Videos.aspx

What do you think? What other ones would be helpful to our owners?

PTM

LOVE the concept!!!

Show me how to retract my slides if the motor fails
Show me how to retract my awning if the motor fails
Show me how to winterize my tt (very popular thread last fall )
Show me what to inspect before I start the spring camping season
Show me how to jack up my TT for changing a flat
Show me the proper way (and order) to flush my tanks

I know, my dealer should have shown me these when I did my walk through, but they didn't and I was brand new to the whole camping thing so I didn't know what to ask. It does seem like these are pretty popular questions for new TT owners.

I learned how to do these items thanks to all the generous folks on this forum.... Thanks all

Wiring diagram

Would love to have a wiring diagram of the Crusader 270 RET....especially the 12 Volt system....the Sanibel has some LED's that would look great in the Crusader's as well.
Also, manual leveling, especially on un-even ground....

Five Stars to Prime Time for the ideals. Post as many as you can think of. Would like to see video on lubing axles.

What a great idea by Prime Time. Just reinforces what I've said earlier, happy to be a Lacrosse owner. Really looks like PT is making a big effort to have the best product and customer service. Good job!

I think posting How To's is a great idea - not sure why all manufactures dont do it.

another idea is "how to winterize your prime time"

Here is a link to a new video on how to lubricate your EZ Lube hubs from Dexter Axle that is now on our web site. Check it out. It's really done well in our opinion.

Prime Time Manufacturing, Manufacturers of travel trailers and fifth wheels

Full disclosure: Getting new videos up on the web site has been way harder than we'd anticipated. Most of our suppliers think the idea is great, but when it comes down to getting them done . . . well that's another story. Prime Time might need to get into the video production business if we really want this section to grow. Stay tuned.

I like the concept. It looks like most of the video aren't actually done by Prime Time though, which is okay, I just think it would be cooler if they would do a set of videos with their own product.

I would also love to see a video walk through on the units. As a dealer, it would be great to post videos with the product on the website alongside the unit. This would be great because the manufacturers know there product better than anyone else!

Just an idea.

I would like a video on how to recalibrate the level up system. Mine is off. They are not very intense videos. Also how to on slide lube points, rv cleaning maintenance, such as rubber roof, also recommend a pre check before heading out on the road. Such as air pressure, wheel torque, tire inspection, lights. As someone who is new to the travel trailer / fifth wheel. As most people don't even know how to check air pressure or that the tire needs to be cold. Thanks
