Sanibel owners experiencing de-lamination issues

Latest update on the de-lamination. Dealer says he cannot fix it from looking at the picture thinks it might be structural. Factory says it still has to go to the dealer for them to look at. Dealer says he can’t look at it until the end of October. So the fun begins. Good news is both agree it’s covered under warranty.

Key thing now is that you have it documented to the dealer and factory of the defect. It's important to not let things slide AND do regular and intensive inspections to make sure it stays OK.

Sanibel owners experiencing de-lamination issues

Dropped off the camper this morning. Service manager says he will have a decision next week if it can be fixed here or has to go to factory. Also it must be structural because by the time I got to the dealer the bump was almost completely gone. Glad I had taken pictures.

New update. Dealer seems to be in agreement that it is a structural issue. Factory is having them take measurements. Hopefully a final decision can be made in the next week or two.

Sanibel owners experiencing de-lamination issues

Latest update. Factory is now having a second set of measurements done. According to the dealer the first set showed a definite problem on some measurements and not on others. I wish the factory would have the unit returned so that they can take their own measurements and get it fixed.

Sanibel owners experiencing de-lamination issues

I have a delamination problem at the bottom of the bedroom slideout. No problems so far anywhere else. The delamination is across the whole bottom from the fascia to about a foot up. Dealer wants $5600.00 to fix it and can’t get the graphics anymore. I said forget it, I have already pulled it apart and sealed everything to keep it from spreading. Going to try to repair it best I can with epoxy injection when the weather breaks. Good luck with your problem. 2014 3551.

I know you're having the dealer doing the warranty claim work but have you called PT directly? I had a 2016 Keystone Travel Trailer that had a crack in slideout wall dealer was slow, made tons of mistakes with the paperwork. So I decided to call Keystone every day until I got to know the folks on the customer service side, I got the ball rolling along they just got tired of me calling or had some compassion, either way, it got solved.
