thinking of adding scissor jacks

Our 2014 Crusader 295rst te came with the ground control 4 point leveling system. when we level up it says check stabilizers, ours didn't come with stabilizers and it does shake when we're walking around inside. Does anyone have the same issues? if so should we add stabilizers?

Stabilizers are a must to minimize sway. I say minimize rather than prevent because you will never get rid of the rocking 100%. Your 295 RST has 3 major slides and it's hard to believe there aren't stabiliizers. Adding the X style wheel locks will also help.

The message probably means you need to do the ground control zero calibration It resets the system. Or you are too nose high when you hit the auto level. I have found if you unhitch then lower the front end to level (use the small stick on bubble levels) then deploy the rear jacks and hit auto level the system works every time. If you leave the front end high after un hitch then hit auto level the system doesn't work nearly as well. As far as stabalizers I plan on adding the jt strongarms or Winfield's.

Put a set of JT strongarms or a similiar system on and you'll be rock solid. We haven't added a set on our 295RST but as soon as budget allows we will.

I have a Crusader 330MKS and added scissor jacks about 30" from the rear bumper. Really helped with movement in that rear portion behind the axles.

Having the same problem with our 325res. When I am sitting in the recliner I get rocked if the wife moves even if she's in the bedroom and she's only 115 lbs. The rear jacks are right behind the wheels about 10' from the rear of the 5ver. Not sure why it was designed this way.

We added a set of scissor jacks to each side of our 3200 BHT and they were great in cutting down the rocking. We put one between the steps and the wheel and then one on the opposite side as well.

try putting your landing gear on 6x6 blocks so as to keep them from extending as much...amazed me in how much sway reduction I got.

JT Strongarm type stabilizers on the landing jacks eliminate the need to carry blocks and do a better job.
