Howdy,
Pulled the trailer home the other day to get it all set up for the season and was thinking about upgrading the tires. Now first off, its the second year of ownership since buying new, so I was refrencing PT's web site for info on my model.
I parked it, went inside and started looking up tires for my TT thinking it had what was posted on PT's web site (ST20575R14C). I started getting pretty upset though thinking I had 14" rims on a 34' TT. A quick look at the TT though would have settled me down but that never happened till later that evening. I later learned that I do in fact have 15" rims rated at 2800lbs with ST22575R15D tires b/c I looked at them
Still thinkning about tires though, does it make sense to get E rated tires on the TT if its running at 8000lbs? I read you should have 20% additional capacity for your TT. However not certain if it makes sense to do this on the second season of ownership. Certainly peace of mind comes into play, but I also want to be safe.
Thanks, Joe
