I don't have any new pics that I haven't posted previously. I'll be camping next month and I'll be sure to take some then and post.

But to keep in the spirit of this thread (and because I like showing off the trailer), I'll post a few of my old pics.

thanks for the great pictures Gary! Can't wait to post some of my own, but that won't happen until the end of next month.

Looking forward to seeing your pics. I know it's along wait and your family must be excited.

Spend your time shopping for the new 5'er and planning those first few trips. That should help pass the time.

Hey Gary,

What's the "extra" water hook up under the cable hook up for. I don't have that on my 303 RKS

All hooked up, packed, and ready to go! Who says travel trailers have less storage than fifth wheels? Also, notice the new Barker 3500 electric tongue jack. This will be the first time using the 2011 LaCrosse 296 BHS. Don't care if it will be rainy or sunny, either way we will enjoy and I will still get to watch the 500 on Sunday.

Nice looking trailer.
Great pics.
Thanks for sharing & enjoy your trip.

You'll love the tongue jack. Too much cranking when hooking/unhooking without it. If mine had not of came with one, it would probably be my first mod.

I like the 296 BHS. That's one floorplan we considered since our grandkids like to camp with us, but we really like the 303 RKS floorplan and it works better for us. The grandkids can sleep on the air bed!

yep! My wife has started the shopping (can't have old towels in a new trailer!) and we have already planned five trips, one a month starting in April. I want to add some nice little gadgets to the trailer. What have you found that you have added that was really fun or helpful. This will be my first 5th wheel so don't know what kind of "nice to have" extras would be good to add.

I don't guess I've added anything that would be considered "fun". Just some of the usual.
MaxxAir Vent Covers.
Mud Dauber Screens on refrig, hot water tank, furnace
Screen Door Protector & Handle (see pic, pic from old tt since I haven't taken one of the new tt)
Magnetic Floor Register Covers (see pics, one of the package and one of the actual vent cover). They say they are made to block airflow but I purchased them to keep dirt and small objects from falling in the duct work.

Oh yeah, I did mount a rope light under the tt by attaching it to the gas line that runs the length of the trailer with zip ties (rear kitchen model). All I have to do is plug it in with an extension cord when I get to a campground and I have a nice soft light under the trailer that also lights up the perimeter as well. The light is soft enough and being under the trailer it shouldn't bother my camping neighbors. (see pics)
I first used a clear rope light, but I have a blue one coming in the mail I want to try.

FYI - Black tank flush was recently added based on customer feedback so older models might not have that on there - sorry.

Would it be feasable to have the Black tank flush installed and what's your estimate on the cost of adding it.

Yes, a dealer could install but I'm not sure of the cost. $250 - $300 maybe? I almost hate to throw that number out because I don't know. Not much for parts, but lots of labor. This was the primary customer feedback that drove us to change. Again, sorry your unit didn't have it.

I installed one on my Keystone. Nothing to it. It was $30-40. Don't know about your rig but the keystone didn't have an underbelly which made it even easier.
