What is going on?

2 of the 4 and maybe 3 rv dealers within 3 hours of my home appear to no longer carry PT products. I wonder why? Tom Schaeffer's, Ansley, Stoltzfus and Beckleys all carried PT products. Ansley only has a few Avengers, Beckleys has 0......I hope everything is okay with the company....

I believe PT is in great shape. I also believe they have a very aggressive marketing program in place and search for dealers that can aggressively promote their line.......which is not bad strategy. In my opinion, large dealers with multiple manufacturers units on their lot have to try to promote them all. Sales persons have their favorites that they've been selling for years and since PT is a fairly new company, the sales people may not be as aggressive due to lack of product knowledge.

We bought our 303RKS from Tom Sheaffer and they had a 58th Aniversary 4 day sale this weekend with Avengers, Crusaders, and Sanibels all advertised in their mailer we received. I hope it's not the last push to sell the PT units they have and not get any more. That would make our search for a dealer at upgrade time a little tougher and probably further away.

We too, got our Crusader from T/S through a local RV show....our salesman told us they had 3 more of our 335BHS on order so I don't think they're dropping them any time soon. He told us the Crusader line is hot for them right now.

Well, that's good to hear. We were going to take a ride up this morning (4 hours round trip) but, since they didn't seem to have the Sanibel model we want (and we aren't ready to buy yet anyway) we decided to save the gas.

Not going anywhere anytime soon......

We blow them out, and usually can't get the replacements quick enough.

I delivered three Crusader's last week....one custom ordered 260RLD, and two 295RST's.

Plenty left yet too....

Our 58th Anniversary Sale was busy, busy, busy!!!! We sold 6 or 8 today....didn't get the final tally before the other guys left.

Right now we have the 3500 and 3600 Sanibel in stock.....the 3050 isn't being built yet.

DW is set on the 3400 so far. It's the only one that "hits her" when she walks in (layout, decor, furnature etc).

I've debated weighing in on this one for obvious reasons, but I will

All of the dealers in this thread are still PT dealers to various degrees. They all have lots of product on order with us.

All of these dealers are EXCELLENT dealers in their respective markets. They have many great brands and long histories of selling these brands. A couple of these dealers only carry a portion of our available lines as they sell other brands that compete with our products.

As the "new kid on the block" it takes a while to displace other brands that have long-time relationships and loyalties - sometimes we don't get it done and end up taking a secondary position on the sales lot. That means if they sell a couple of our units, we don't have anything in stock to show. Sometimes, there just isn't enough space and we don't get represented at all if we can't provide compelling reasons for a dealership to stock one of our brands - and that's the case with a couple of these dealers.

I can assure you that Prime Time is doing excellent and we will continue trying to convince ALL of our dealers to stock ALL of our brands with extreme enthusiasm.

RV Guy, that's exactly what my dealer and salesman said when I ask why they did not stock more of Prime Time's units, they seem to be slowly increasing tho and being moved from the the back of the lot to the front.

We bought our 320 almost 2 years ago from Tom Schafer's. We also recently received a flyer in the mail from them with what looked like a fine supply of PT units for sale. There is also a new dealership down my way in Gambrills Md. that has had a,albeit small but steady supply of PT units Tracers, Avengers,Crusaders and Sanibels. Shoot, the 2 Sanibels a 3400 and 3500 (I think!!)were going for the mid 40's.And no I am not making that up!
