That GMT900 is far better than any new truck, especially a new diesel with DEF and all those electronics.

Same could probably be said for GMC & Chevy (never had a Dodge, so I can't/won't comment on them). sometimes you get the elevator, sometimes you get the shaft.
I have a 95 350 7.3 with over 300000 miles and a 15 250 6.7 both pull and run great I have a15 42 foot xlr toy hauler

Well after owning 2 Rams, 1500 put 250,000 miles on it and 17 years, now have our second Bighorn and have test drove them all brands. I have to say the Ram rides like a Cadillac. Do some test driving. I've pulled various large horse trailers with living quarters on them and now our Flagstaff 529BH 5er. Pulls like a dream. Best of luck.

Had a 05 Ram 1500 with the 4.7 and pulled a Trail Runner 24RK. The Ram pulled okay, gas mileage sucked. Upgraded to Chevy 2500 HD Diesel and a 2021 CC Silverback 33ik. Chevy pulls like a dream. Love the 33ik.

I'm considering a new chev or gmc crew cav 4x4 with the new 6.6 gas engine. Anybody have one that could share their actual experience?

We have a thread or 2 on that. Search for 2500HD Gas or some such. I’m on my phone or I’d do the search for you.
