2013 Fireworks Over the Falls, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

I know it still many months away but I wanted to start this to find out who is heading to Canada?

I'm also wanting to hear where everyone is coming from and maybe we can convoy there. I'm in Phoenix Arizona.

Iggy

Perhaps we should add the words "Roll Call" to the thread title?

OK It is now a Roll Call for the Caravan.
This is not a Carnival Cruise Roll Call.

Separate thread for the erly trip (June 25th - 30th)? We didn't make reservations in time so switched to the early trip.
By the way, Bob, what's the count on that trip?

There are still about 5 or 6 spots left for the Fireworks Over the Falls Rally at Niagara Falls, June 25-30. You can find information and registration forms on the FROG website at www.forestriverfrog.com/Rally/#niagara. We hope to have a few more folks join in the fun!

The June 30 - July 5 session is still filled.

Of course the June 30 - July 5 is full. July 1st is Canada's Birthday!! It's Canada Day and the fireworks are extra special and the crowds larger than usual. Would have loved to have gone to the rally that week. Oh well, there's next year!

For anyone head east into New York after the rally I found a nice campground that we have planned to stay 3 nights July 5, 6, and 7. It will cost a few more bucks being the 4th of July weeked but I need to find a place so we don't get stuck.
It is SW of Ithaca NY about 8 miles and one of the finger lakes.
It is about 175 miles from Bissell's. we have site #61 if anyone would like to join us.

Pine Creek Campground
28 Rockwell Road
Newfield, NY 14867

Here is a link to the website.

Hi Iggy, we tried to reserve a spot a month or two back and were told it was full. Now I see there are openings. Too bad we made other camping arrangements on the US side.We would have liked to join everyone. You guys have fun. Frank

Frank,
The original rally dates Junes 30 - July 5 are still full.

Bob Bryne added another rally from June 25 -June 30 which still may have spaces. The only difference is it won't be during Canada Day of our 4th of July. This was added a few months back.

Thanks for the info. Maybe we can join everyone for dinner if this tropical storm doesn't blow us all away today! Wow!

Frank, the original dates (June 30 - July 5) were -- and still are -- filled, and no more sites were available from the campground because of the Canada Day holiday. A couple of months ago we posted -- on the FROG website, on Facebook, and on the Forums -- that we were adding a second date, June 25-30. We still have a few spots left for that date if you'd like to join us. The itinerary is exactly the same on both trips.

(Oops! I just saw that Iggy posted the same thing.)

Hi Bob, Sorry I must have missed the second posting. Maybe next time. We will be in Niagara on the fourth staying on the American side. Perhaps we could meet our fellow FROG members on a day trip into Canada? Thanks Frank

Definitely sounds like fun. I've got many "frogs" together for the Niagara and the Indiana rallies. I took you advice Iggy and have been collecting since. See you in Niagara.

Iggy, watch for large potholes on portions of I70 through Indiana. Parts of the interstate are in poor shape. Have a great time and be sure to take the maid of the mist boat ride while at the falls. It is well worth it.
