So how many are registered so far Bob?
Are we over 800 yet?

Not close, Iggy, but it does give me a chance to address something that a few people have asked in the last day or two.

Since we used an online system this year, some people became a little confused and decided to start over. If you go back to the FROG website and start over, you create a second registration. So far the record is nine for one couple.

I've been going through every registration and every order with a fine tooth come to eliminate duplicates, make sure that no one selected a quantity of "2" for Two Adults in an RV, which would have resulted in a double payment, and other anomalies. Some people selected tours and put them in the cart, then later realized that they hadn't selected a Rally registration.

In the meantime, several people have called or e-mailed to say that they'd seen a charge on their credit cards that have now disappeared. Here's what's actually happening:

When, you registered, there was a "block" put on your card for the amount of your registration to ensure that there's room on the card. Some of those have now expired, but I'm still able to submit the order for payment. I've gotten through 200+ orders, and hope to be caught up by Saturday on about 400 more. Some of these are multiple orders, with separate orders for the Rally and tours. You'll get a paid invoice by e-mail when the payment goes through.

To answer your question, Iggy, it looks as if we're at about 550-560 registrations in the first week, versus an attendance of 510 last year.

If you need to add something to your order (tours, the basic registration, or whatever), please DON'T go to the FROG website and re-register.

Go to www.frogrally.com and enter the e-mail address and password that you used when you registered. Don't add items that you've already purchased, but you can add additional tours (if there's room) or basic registration if you missed putting that in your cart.

Pinky59, when you registered, there was a reserve put on your card to be sure that the charge could be processed, but nothing was actually charged. That reserve stays for about 48-72 hours and then disappears.

It's taking me longer than that to individually review each individual order. Yesterday I came across on where the individual had signed up for two adults in an RV and put in a quantity of "2", so he would have been charged an extra $425, which is the kind of thing I'm looking for.

When I review and submit the charge is when your card is actually charged. I've finished about 300 of them so far.

If you want to go on any of the optional tours though, they are selling out *fast* That would be the only reason to register earlier rather than later.

Hey Bob, you could be right about being parked next to muck pile but I heard you could be parked on top of it! I hear the muck keeps growing under your rig so way not just park it over it.
