Our daughter is being tested and typed as a donor so it is possible that surgery or recovery could be a conflict; but we hope not.

Obviously, that would be our first priority.

Make sure you list a need for a handicap site on your registration form.

There is a local Golf Cart rental firm that you can rent golf carts from -- I can't remember exactly the cost (Perhaps F.R.O.G. Bob can chime in here)

Also, the rally will have a "Tractor Trolley" that makes a big circuit around the fairgrounds. In addition, there will be volunteers driving Golf Cart "Stretch Limos" (seat 6-8) to assist folks in getting around the fairgrounds

Thanks Bob for the newsletter and posts! I always enjoy reading the newsletters. Also thanks for all the hard work you have put into both the rally and the registration process.

So if I understand correctly you are not assigned a space when you register. Spaces are given first come first served when you show up.

see surveyors comments below. .....if there are enough of your particular brand coming they try and park them together. ....that makes it easier for the techs and developers a little brand comraderie

It's not first come first served regarding your site. Bob can speak to it better but it's almost like a lottery method. They have x number of permanent and temporary sites and your site number is picked from there. You might end up by the dining hall, backing up to the train tracks, parked next to one of the animal barns, grandstand or the back forty. Plus you may be parked next to any typeof Forest river branded Rv (pop up camper to a sports coach Motorhome) In other words it doesn't help to come early unless you plan on volunteering.
Does that help?

Keep in mind they did say an early arrival does not necessarily get you a fhu or 50 amp site.
