I guess someone didn't bother to read the rally schedule that was in everyone's welcome packet.

Well folks just think it's nothing to get a goody bag and then complain when they miss out. Later RJD

I started the beer and wine tasting thread on here several weeks before the rally. One only has to look for the Phat Phrogs sittin' in the Phrog Pond to be included, and if you ask around someone will point you in our direction!

The PPST beer and wine tasting would not be in the welcome packet, as it is not part of the official rally events. We (phat phrogs) host it at rallies ourselves, as a way to meet n greet FROGs. Next year we will shout...croak....a bit louder about it for all to hear!

Megaphone and cowbells on your golf cart announcing this event would be helpful. As I guess some don't read the forum. Lol

I'll have to install a rooftop billboard sign on the Phrog Cart.

Somehow, I'm thinking flashing red and blue lights, sirens and megaphones might not be a good thing to have around a bunch of inebriated people.

Not a chance! 😀. Although the PPST guys were relatively quiet this year, we can't say the same for the women!

This was unexpected and inconvenient for us and the service folks. We have a carry-in party for the XLR techs and management each year on Thursday and being separated didn’t make that any easier. We objected to the parking volunteers and Bob before setting up but in the end didn’t want to make a scene. This might be a deal-breaker next year.

We were blocked in for the week by Berkshire rigs and had to wait until several RVs left before we could leave Saturday.

We had a short space and couldn’t use the ramp to get the bike in and out of the garage. With all the rain, that was not optimal.
FYI - Apparently there was no "XLR group" nor was there a Berk "group" this year. Last year we tried to park all the longer XLRs together on the northeast part of the outside ring around the track due to the DEEP spots. There are 9 spots there; all were scheduled for long XLRs. So I did some checking and 8 of the 9 spots were used for XLRs (one was a late no show and the spot was used for a Columbus that needed to go to the Factory on Tuesday.

There were a few XLRs parked in the Grove and in the Meadow and one was parked alongside the Dairy Barn. There was a group of Berks who wanted to be parked together and they were parked along the back fence in the Grove and there were a few Berks in the Meadow. There were Berks scattered all over the fairgrounds.

How long was your XLR? The 30 foot models should have had plenty of room in the Grove.
