we're getting ready. we leave one week from today with a one night stopover at lake powell. I've got a long list of things to do to the trailer to get it ready. all minor things but the list is long. hope to meet all of you and have a good time!

I have no idea yet what we'll bring to the potluck.

I do make a great potato salad but there has to be something that goes well with it.

We are leaving Monday and heading to Hoover Dam and then St. George area. See you all in a week!

We will be there Wednesday- space 231.

We have another attendee that I don't know about so we may have a mystery guest.

See you in a week!

Thursday arrival, hopefully early afternoon. will they locate us all in the same area if we mention we are part of the ralley group? are sites preassigned or first come, first served. i'm assuming they are full hook ups with 50 amps. pull thru or back in? if any of you want a good laugh get a chair and watch my backing in process. not pretty! pull thrus are heaven.

They are putting us in the back area where there are about 40 spots with a lot of space but no natural shade. All full hookups. They are doing what they can to keep us fairly close to one another but it is a busy campground. The spots are pull through back there so I won't have my camera out for you tube video. Lol.

Do we need to reserve tickets to the rodeo ahead of time?

should we make reservations for ebenezers on Friday night or can we just walk up? do they fill up or are walk ups accommodated? my wife has a medical issue that makes something like this sometimes questionable. i'd hate to make reservations and then have her be unable to go to it. my guess is no refunds. does anybody know?

2017 Aug 17th-20th - Bryce Canyon Utah rally

I think there is a reservation desk in the main lobby by the gift shop. More like an idea of how many to expect. I don't think it is set in stone. Also think if we are staying on property we get 10% discount.

Don't forget they will come get us in the rv park!!

just got back from the trailer. took everything out of the basement compartment and verified what we need to take. stuff just accumulates. took the bed linens out and they are being washed. tomorrow is put it all back together day. finished waxing the outside yesterday and 2 hours later a huge rain and hail storm hit. forecast is for dry weather for the rest of the week. bought some beer, so we are in process! just drove through town on the way back to the house from the trailer and our main road is just jammed with rv's coming and going.

Just washed and waxed Clifford also and can see the thunder storm clouds to the east. It's 104 here and can't wait to get out.

As everyone begins to make their arrival, we are in spot 231. So after you are set up and settled, come and introduce yourself and check in.

made it to wahweap rv park at lake powell. another three hours or so tomorrow. I am absolutely fearing those two tunnels in red canyon. I probably will clear them by less than an inch. i'm going very slowly right down the middle of the road at the highest point of the tunnel.

Well I made it back to home base and I hope all other attendees have as well. Judging by the smiles sam and I saw, I'm thinking everyone had a good time.

Be sure to forward your favorite pics and I will put them together for all to see.

Maybe we should aim for 2019 to do it again? Lol.

again!!!! we made it home Thursday afternoon. we stayed at Bryce until Wednesday. it absolutely poured most of Tuesday afternoon. then a couple of nights at lake powell.

thanks to trent and sammie for all they did to organize the ralley. they said it was nothing but we all know it took a lot of work. I don't have a contact name at forest river but would you please pass on a thank you to them for the breakfast and goodies.

we think Bryce is one of the prettiest places we have been to.

again thank you and we're ready to sign up for next year!

We're working on a spring trip to Bryce Canyon on our way back from wintering near Tucson. I was looking at taking hwy89 from Williams, AZ to Ruby's then back on hwy89 north to pickup I-15 to "Golden Spike National Historic Site".

Any comments on road conditions? (Grade issues, clearances, etc.) , Also any interesting points of interest along the way?

Thanks
