Do they still play slow pitch with that big soft ball? Use to play it in Chicago in the early 60's
Have not seen it since I left, that was a fun sport

Well we could change the rules a bit so you could walk and not run bases We used a 6" soft ball and no gloves were allowed had 10 men on a team. Name slips my mind for now. Kitten ball comes to mind. Later RJD

Memories.

They moved me from the outfield to pitcher/catcher when I turned 43. Played a lot before and after that. Funny, but all those trophies came after! I could hit singles all day but man, that base running stuff got harder and harder.

Have a portable (pretty close to regulation size) cornhole game we carry in the basement. IF you need it, holler. You have to agree to use one with our favorite team logo on it! LOL

I'm watching on ESPN 2 a corn Hole tournament winner 10,000 bucks, 3 or 4 in the hole every time, I have seen FROGS, who couldn't hit the board. Watching and taking lessons.

If you reall want to get good, practice on 'airmail' boards. The hole is at the same height, angle, and distance... there just aint any board around them to use for the slide. Either the go straight in the hole, or nothing at all.

The "Trophies" have been made! May even have some consolation prizes. Just remember, it's not so much the trophy, but the bragging rights that go with it!
