2019 4th Annual Gettysburg FROG Rally - June 28-30

Please join us for the 4th Annual Gettysburg FROG Rally!
June 28th-30th, 2019

This town is so incredibly rich with American history – there is always something new to experience! Come join your fellow FROG’s for an amazing weekend of fun, companionship, great food, and adventure.

Rob and Stephanie Bazzanella (Dieselbobcat) will again host this event and look forward to continuing the good times and expanding this rally to include additional fun events. Once again, there are "early bird" events with the option of a very special Friday tour.

_____________________________________________

Tentative itinerary as follows:

Thursday:
Earlybird Casual Outing – Prior to heading to dinner, get your steps in and work up your appetite with a walking tour of downtown Gettysburg. (Details to follow)

Earlybird Group Dinner - Get together with the early arrivals for a special group dinner downtown. Meet some of the other FROGs before the rally kicks off. This event will once again be held at the historic Dobbin House in the private upstairs dining room.

Friday:
"Wine-d" Down at the Farm – Come and experience some of the other hidden gems of the Gettysburg area. We are going to slow it down and traverse some of the back roads away from the battlefield and downtown for the afternoon. A private air-conditioned coach will pick us up at the campground for a special four-hour afternoon excursion to the fifth oldest winery in the state of Pennsylvania and then to a multi-generational family farm.

Friday Night Welcome - Meet and Greet Pot Luck - Please join in to officially kick off the rally at the Happy Hour Style Pot Luck dinner.

Did Someone yell “B-I-N-G-O”?! – Following our pot luck, be sure to stick around for our BINGO! - FROG Style! There will be some great prizes and a great time to be had by all!

Saturday:
Crafts for Kids and Adults - Join us in the morning for crafts. This year we will again have projects for both the kids and the kids at heart! (Small fee applies for adult art project)

Saturday Morning Coffee Talks- Once again, our resident EMT's Russ and Elva we will be hosting a Saturday Morning Coffee Talk on an RV/Safety related topic. Great information and a chance to ask questions.

Bus Tours - As we enjoyed last year, a private air-conditioned coach will pick us up at the campground and will feature a licensed tour guide. (Details to follow)

Saturday Night Dinner - A catered dinner compliments of FROG to satisfy your appetite after a full day of exploring. Sit, eat, talk, and relax! (For those that might have heard about last year’s BBQ – YES! Ben from Boneyard Barbecue is coming back!)

Sunday:
Farewell Breakfast Potluck - Get together for one last meal before hitting the road.

REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN SHORTLY. YOU WILL BE BOOKING YOUR SITE AND PURCHASING TICKETS FROM THE EVENTBEE SITE SIMILAR TO THE INTERNATIONAL RALLY.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE CAMPGROUND DIRECTLY TO JOIN THIS RALLY!

See you in Gettysburg!
Rob and Stephanie Bazzanella

We will not be able to make the Rally this year, but we plan to in the near future.

My family has long and significant history in Gettysburg. My great-great-grandfather Michael Jacobs was a professor at the university there when the battle was fought. His home in the center of the village is a National Landmark, and his exploits are recorded at several landmarks in the village and the battlefield museums. His first-hand, written record of the events of the battle was the first ever published.
