A big Thank You to Bill a Duff, Kevin, Terri and Joe Lombardo, and everyone who helped in one way or another at the rally. It is truly a group effort! Also, thank you to Bob Byrne and the Forest River Owners Group for the door prizes and catered dinner! Optimum RV sent a crew to answer maintenance questions and do free roof inspections. Tri Am RV supported us with many great door prizes and a discount on items. And last, but certainly not least, thank you to Andy and Shelly from Al’s TV of Dunellon and Williston. Not only have they supported us with a lunch and RV TV and internet information two years in a row, they attend the rally as participants! I hope I have not left anyone else out.

It was great to see many old friends and meet many new ones. We had a wonderful group attend and it was all a pleasure. A special shout out to RJ! After five years of trying to come down from Georgia he was able to make it this year? Such a pleasure to meet a very interesting man! Until next year, take care!

Thank You

Thanks everyone for the hospitality and kindness. As noted before, this was our maiden voyage with an RV. Learned a lot but still have a ways to go. A special thanks to Bill for sharing his love bug secret that isnít so secret anymore. A spray bottle with peroxide in it cut the cleaning easily in half upon our return. 👍Afterwards Toni went out and purchased 2 bottles to keep in our cleaning kit aboard our RV.

Idea for Next Year

We're sure we missed a great event, but, the cruise was booked before we knew the dates. Anyway, if next year is in the same area, I found what could be an interesting side trip.

Devil's Millhopper State Park is on the north side of Gainesville. It features a boardwalk down into a sink hole with a rainforest ecosystem at the bottom. There is a city park next to it with the usual park amenities. A visit to the state park followed by a picnic lunch might make a nice activity.
