For some unknown (by me anyway) reason I am no longer getting a daily forum update. How will I know when the international rally is open for tickets?

I'd try re-subscribing to the thread. In the thread tools just above the first post on a page.
Anyway, if you signed up on the FROG website, Bob said he would be sending an email to everyone. Did you get the e-mail about the Thousand Trails deal? I suspect it's the same e-mail list.

When I click on the link to this thread in the notification email, I'm taken to a "Hello from Central Virginia" thread. How do I correct that?

Probably nothing... Sounds like the program that wrote your e-mail put the wrong link behind it. See if it is correct next time you get a notice...
