Well said Bob. This year we are thinking about adding a fire breathing dragon. The landing zone into RPod village will still be a nice soft landing for all.

I was just looking at this as the clock runs down, I noticed that on this forum the numbers looking and participating have dropped quite a bit, last year views last year were 184370, posts 2740, this year it is 24981 views, 328 posts. Where has all the people gone?

First off....we attended the FROG International a few years ago, and are planning to return this year. It’s a great opportunity to share in but we can’t make it an annual event for us, as many others can.
Hopefully this won’t offend anyone that is a regular on here waaaaay more than myself, but.....
I pity anyone that is a relative newbie trying to find out what this particular rally is about. Given the length of this posting, intermixed with the ongoing personal banter by the regulars, this is hardly where they could find meaningful information without asking questions that may already have been asked. It’s posted as a “sticky” where they might figure to find their info. We can’t really expect them to scan from the start of this run.
Just something to consider.
Now......get ready to register.

2019 FROG International Rally: August 11-17, 2019
I’m going to try to make the rally as I’m looking for some old friends. I plan on camping at Shipshewana South campground, it’s close to everything we want. Rise n Roll, Blue Gate Restaurant, the flea market. E&S sales, a few other restaurants. Tiffany’s in Topeka is a great breakfast also maybe I can see some old friends at the Cedar Creek factory. I don’t really care about taking a factory tour.

I was but something came up, I sure wanted to go back to Alaska. It’s a long trip but I had already picked out some places I wanted to visit. That trip takes some planning, grass has to be cut, mail picked up. Saving some extra money. We hope to spend a little more time with granddaughter, she is going to school next year

Registration opens at noon EDT (11:00 am where you live) TOMORROW, Thursday, April 18. You will need the VIN of your unit.
You will select either 1 adult in an RV, OR 2 adults in an RV. If you have additional people in your RV, you will enter the number (over and above the 2 you already selected) in the "Add additional people" box.
You may then select any "optional" tours you may wish to take. There are some fun and fascinating tours around the Amish countryside of northern Indiana.
Finally, you'll need a credit card to pay your rally registration fee plus any "optional" trips you choose to take.
Rally registration link is www.frogrally.com
If you would like to look over the optional tours before registration opens, you can find a complete list of the tours here: https://files.constantcontact.com/52...b568ee2f0a.pdf
The rally registration also has a place that you can sign up as a volunteer for things like the parking team (requires early arrival), driving the shuttle carts during rally week, and a number of other volunteer jobs that help make the rally run smoother.
If you haven't been to the International Rally before, I know you'll enjoy it.
For more information about the rally itself, see the FAQ page: https://files.constantcontact.com/52...a972545481.pdf

2019 FROG International Rally: August 11-17, 2019
The rally opens up tomorrow. You will get a email that the rally is open. Last year my finger was on the button and I was registered in seven minutes but the site crashed and it was a few days before I knew I was in. The year before that I couldn’t get in on my phone so I used my laptop and I almost didn’t make it. It’s fun. Last year and year before that it seemed like there was more traffic on the site before reservations, this year it’s seems almost dead. If you haven’t ever been to the rally it’s a lot of fun, meeting new people being together with people that have all kinds of campers, just all Forest River campers

I have received more than one email about "Dropping In" during the event.
Please Don't …
Q. I just want to drop by and take in the seminars, shop the vendors, etc. Can I do that?
A. That would be unfair to those who have purchased a ticket to attend and who help to cover the costs of putting on the FROG Rally.
Q. Can I camp somewhere else and come to the FROG Rally?
A. No, for the same reasons noted above.
It is sort of embarrassing to have to post this; you would think folks would know better. Like showing up at a Forest River Product rally in a "non-Forest River" camper.
