The facilities at the fairgrounds are okay but we found them very busy. We went to this one at 65529 IN-15 Suite A, Goshen, IN 46526(My 3 suds) when we were at a previous rally. Very clean and lots of machines. There is also a pizza place next door. It was good.

Although I haven’t been able to confirm this officially, rumor has it the RV sites behind the Draft Horse Barn will be the clothing optional section this year. In previous years the clothing optional section always had the best golf cart taxi service.

If someone is bringing the cables and rigging, I'd be happy to help setup the zip line....

If you didn't get Bob's email:

The 2022 FROG International Rally is now just about a week away! We’re getting more excited each day, and are looking forward to seeing everyone in Goshen.

Here are a few items to help everyone know what to expect before and after your arrival at the fairgrounds.

The dates of the FROG Rally are August 14-20, with dinner on Sunday as the first “official” event. There is a link to the agenda at www.frogrally.com, the same site where you registered. The agenda includes schedules for meals, seminars, entertainment, tours, vendor hours, and more. You’ll also get a copy in your arrival packet, along with an addendum of last-minute changes.

GETTING TO THE FAIRGROUNDS

The address of the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds is 17746-D County Road 34, Goshen, IN 46528. CR 34 is also called East Monroe Street.

Coming from the east or west on the Indiana Toll Road:
Exit at Exit 96 (Highway 17) by the RV Hall of Fame. Go south on 17 until you cross an overpass across the Elkhart River and the railroad tracks. The next light is at Rieth Blvd. [IGNORE THE SIGN THAT SAYS GOSHEN AHEAD AND ELKHART TO THE RIGHT.] Turn right on Rieth Blvd. and go to the light at US 33. Turn right onto US 33 and continue past downtown until you reach Goshen High School on your right and the school bus lot on your left. Turn left at the light, and the fairgrounds will be about ½ mile on your right.
or
Exit at Exit 107 (Highway 13 / Middlebury). You will need to hand your EZ Pass transponder to the attendant because they had a fire and can’t read the signal. Turn right on 13 and go through Middlebury, continuing about 4 more miles to the T-intersection at Highway 4. Turn right on Highway 4 and go to the first stop sign. Turn left on CR 35 and go to the next stop sign. Turn right on CR 34 and continue about 3 miles to the fairgrounds on the left. [THIS ROUTE HAS FEW SHOULDERS AND SEVERAL HILLS WHERE YOU HAVE TO BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS OF AMISH BUGGIES AND BIKES.]

Coming from the east or west on US 20. (NOTE: the eastbound exit from US 20 onto US 33 is temporarily closed for construction.
Exit on Highway 17 by the Love’s Truck Stop. Turn south on 17 and follow the same directions as for coming from the Toll Road.

Coming from the south on US 33.
As you come into the south edge of Goshen, you’ll pass a WalMart Super Center. Continue about another mile until you reach the Goshen High School football field and the school on your left. Turn right at the light, and the fairgrounds will be about ½ mile on your right.

PARKING AND EARLY ARRIVAL

You’ll enter the fairgrounds at Gate 2, the gate with the tall electronic sign. A greeter will be there to direct you. If you are towing a car, we’ll ask you to pull over and drop it. You’ll pull around to the front of the building, where you’ll be met, escorted to a parking area, and assisted with parking in your site.

Your Registration for the FROG Rally includes camping at the fairgrounds beginning on Sunday, August 14 and running through Friday night, August 19 with departure on Saturday. Early arrival parking begins on Thursday, August 11 if you have registered for it.

Parking will run from 9:00 a.m.to 7:30 p.m. each day. If you arrive before 9:00 turn left and circle around the lot to the front of the big green building and wait for the parking team. If you arrive after 7:30, please park on the front lot and we’ll get you parked in the morning.

On Sunday, parking will shut down from about 5:00 to 6:30 so that the parking team can enjoy dinner and will re-open after that. If you arrive during those hours, please park on the front lot, walk through the gate. look to your right for Building A, the largest on the fairgrounds, and join us for dinner. We’ll get you parked after dinner.

REGISTRATION

Registration will be in the Elkhart County Community Center, the large building where you’ll check in for parking. Entry is on the back side of the building Registration will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and again after dinner on Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you arrive after that, you can register at the FROG Office in Vendor Building E (next door to Building A, where we have meals) on Monday.

The only rally that ever did a zip line was done at the Mayberry rally with pics to prove. Goshen all talk and no action. Later RJD

UPDATE ON THE ARRIVAL DIRECTIONS:

If you're coming east on US 20 from the South Bend Area, the exit at US 33 south is now open. You can come down directly from US 20 past downtown to Goshen High School and turn left to get to the fairgrounds.

What I'm really hoping to do is to make money magically appear in people's pockets the way WMTire does. I think I'll start with my own, just do I don't disturb other people.

Well, the rally is starting and you can feel the excitement building!

A line of early arrival FROGs were waiting for the greeters, escorts and parking teams to guide them to their sites!

It's going to be a GREAT time!

Yes, there was an early line, but the wonderful parking team sprang into action and did their best to get everyone into their rally spot, looks like we will have great weather and as always and like FROG Bob says.... Let's Get Ready to Rally!!!
