Newbie questions

I hope you forgive all the newbie questions, logistically I think we will arrive just before noon Sunday. Should I expect a long line and a wait to get to our site? Just trying to set my expectations.

That is adorable; looks like it might fit in the bed of my F-350 if I take the fifth wheel hitch out.

In the 5 years I have been going. I have never experienced long lines or long waits. The parking crew runs very efficiently and quickly. They get you checked in, lead you to the site, get you parked and move on to the next camper. They have a team to first check you in and then hand you off to the parking crew. They have several crews to lead campers to the site and get them parked. As far as the newbie questions....ask away! We have all had a first time!

I’ll be there on Saturday! Just in time seeing as a slide actuator bracket just broke.

Lucky people. Where I live gasoline is averaging $5/gallon
We recently gained the distinction of having highest gas prices in the Continental US.

Can't blame the oil companies for this though as recent state legislation gets almost all the blame.

Our plan is to be there today. Hoping we get there before parking closes. GPS says 53 miles and we will be there by 6pm, but we have to stop for fuel....

We shall see!

Expect that, unless you arrive with full waste tanks and need to dump, that from time time you pull into the fairgrounds at GATE 2, it will take under 30 minutes to have you parked.

Works for me. It’s a picture of a weather app’s mild temperatures and coming rain.

Tanks empty from last trip, 4 hours to get there.

The original link that RJD quoted does not work.
The corrected (I believe) link that lsauer now provides does work but is missing the sentence "Better get here early if you're coming today..."

I also find it interesting the sentence that was originally posted shows concern and the photo shows a 40% chance of rain... but... doesn't that mean there is a 60% chance it won't rain?

You got that whole percentages thing down 5 Picker! I'm amazed how much nicer the forecast is compared to 2 years ago when the heat index was well into 90s and humidity was sweltering to oppressive. I just figured Indiana was horrendous in summer, didn't realize that was not the average.
