Yes, we sure did. It was our very first rally of any kind -- didn't know if we were part of the FROGs or the 'HOGs'! The Heartland group are a great bunch of people, too. Very friendly and made us feel at home, even though we were a SOB to them.

No, actually that was the First Annual FROGtoberfest year before last. Sounds like there'll be FROGs, 'HOGs', and whatever else this year. The more, the merrier!!

Karen, you already have a tap that dispenses Mich Ultra, it's called the kitchen faucet! Mich Ultra is like sex in a canoe.

Wow, that's TWICE the daily temps we had last year. If the winds are less than 100 mph then we should be able enjoy the fire pit.

Your comment scares me. I have assured my 100lb < DW that she would not require a blanket/parka to go outside. I am not sure now that her pant pockets will hold the required number of rocks to hold her in one place. 100 mph wind? Do you think an anchor or some sort of tie-down vendor will be available?
This may be my chance to have her actually consider the cement shoes I keep suggesting she wear.

Oh my gosh Wobbles...this is so funny!!
Last year it was windy at night. Just made us sit back up a bit further from the monster fire pit!
And it was chilly enough for hats, blankets, and lots of moonshine, compliments of SillouettePenny....
My thoughts....if you bought those amazing tie down poles from Turbs, I may be able to have him design a 'tie down' contraption for your very petite DW! As long as she stands or sits very close to you, she won't float away! And it can be hands free, so you can hold that beer stein!

Sounds logical. Thanks for the direction / correct course of action.
Anybody need a set of concrete galoshes? Never used or will not be now that I have options.
Thanks RVChick...

If you two had attended Amana last year then you would most certainly be single this season, the wind would have carried her away for sure. We had to anchor RVChick down with moonshine bottles and a heavy flannel blanket. If she hadn't sat down wind of the campfire when it flamed to 10 feet horizontal then she might still have that blanket.
Firewood makes a good anchor, bring plenty of it!
