I only got on this forum a week or two ago. Just saw this thread. I live in Priceville (just east of Decatur, southwest of Huntsville). Do I need to read all 200+ posts to know what is going on, or just start at the end and work backwards? Haha

A few days ago there was a cancellation, you could try calling the park to see if there is still a spot for you, otherwise the park is sold out. Hopefully you can get in.

LOL - as organizers we are not in the comptition of course... but TBH, we started looking for halloween decorations in July!

It just kills Anne-Marie and I that holidays are pushed so hard on the consumer! We were in Sam's Club the other day shopping for the Saturday BBQ and Looks like they completely skipped Halloween and Thanksgiving...the Christmas decorations were out all OVER the store!

If you have a.Party City, Dollar General, etc. they are still showing plenty of Halloween decorations, especially Party City.

Meal Update for BamaGanza

We will be sending out an October BamaGanza update newsletter tomorrow but we wanted to clear up a misconception some people may have on meals at BamaGanza.

The breakfasts sponsored by Hood RV & Bankston Motorhomes on Friday and Saturday are completely FREE to all rally participants. Please feel free to come and enjoy breakfast compliments of the dealerships – there is NO obligation or cost to you!

The FROG BBQ On Saturday is another free meal provided to all Rally participants at no cost to you. Traditionally, folks gather in the afternoon and BBQ the meat provided by Forest River. This year, Forest River will be providing coleslaw, BBQ beans, potato salad, chips and a surprise dessert as well!

POT LUCK MEALS
We have 2 scheduled Pot-Luck Meals (everyone bring a dish to share with your friends):
Friday Night Dinner/Supper
Sunday Morning Breakfast

Dennis, Sandy, Anne-Marie and I hope this clears up any misconceptions folks may have had.

See you in Two Weeks!!

GREAT Idea!! The long range weather forecast says sunny, with daytime temps in the 70's and nighttime temps in the 50's - PERFECT Campfire weather!!

I spoke with Donna at the Campground today and the whole staff is SUPER excited about BamaGanza, and can't wait for the rally to begin!

Anne-Marie and I will be on site by noon this Sunday so if anyone wants to jump the gun and come a day or two earlier, come on down!

Campground Update:

As of today we have SOLD OUT THE CAMPGROUND!

Donna said there are 1 maybe 2 water/electric sites left, but all Full Hookup sites are booked! There is a central dump station, so if you are reading this and thinking you may want to attend, give the Noccalula Falls Campground at: 256-543-7412 and tell them you are with the FROG Rally!

Bob, we're able to get away sooner than first thought, so this morning also talked to Donna and she said they're having an "old tractor" event Fri. and Sat. at the campground,.......now, Lord willing, we'll be arriving on Fri. 9th - leaving 21st......
looking forward to our very first FROG rally and anxious to meet other frogs
