We are back home. We really had a great time! We met lots of good folks from all over. Our thanks to Bob, Anne-Marie, Dennis, and Sandy for hosting a great rally, they did a terrific job! I can't remember the last time I played Putt-Putt... We had a blast... And the FOOD.. wow, we ate like royalty.
Go GIANTS !

Bamaganza '15 could 'not' have gone better. We had great attendance, there were a total of 62 FROG rigs here with a total of 123 FROGS!

On behalf of Bob, Anne-Marie, Sandy and myself (The auctioneer)
We thank all of y'all so very much for making Bamaganza '15 a very successful rally.

Without y'all there would be no rally.

Be safe in your travels home or on to your next adventure, for all of you that have made it home already, thanks for coming.....we all look forward to having a great Bamaganza '16!

There are a bunch of folks I would like to thank for jumping in and helping, unfortunately I don't have names....but I can say there were several folks that helped with the food prep most of the afternoon Saturday as well as on the grills Saturday afternoon. There were folks just jumping in and helping all over, that's one of the many reasons these RV rallies are so successful, especially the FROG RV rallies.
I was speaking to a young lady this morning, a veteran in fact, she told me that what she missed most about the military was the close knit family type atmosphere. ...she told me she felt that this weekend (that's a feel good moment )

When folks like FROGS get together, there is always a family atmosphere, that makes co-hosting an event like this far more a pleasure than a task.

I want to chime in here with CSMRetired as well. Anne-Marie, Sandy, Dennis and myself were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by all the offers to help with food preparation, activity organization, and cleanup.

BamaGanza has quickly established a tradition - as Dennis so eloquently said - of a close knit family atmosphere where lifelong friendships are made and people are so excited about the rally that the number one question Saturday night was what are the dates of BamaGanza '16?!

We also found out another interesting thing that makes BamaGanza unique and so special. I asked everyone Saturday if they would like to have the meal at BamaGanza '16 catered and every single person said NO! Apparently there is something very special about a bunch of people getting together to prepare a meal--so this will be a unique tradition that we will not change in future BamaGanza's!

To everyone who attended: Anne-Marie, Sandy, Dennis and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making BamaGanza what it has become, We are all looking forward to BamaGanza '16!

We posted the band in action Saturday night I believe.

Anyhow, now that I am home and on a high speed internet connection I will be uploading all the photos I took at the rally

It may be tomorrow though....that shower and a ice cold cider is looking really tempting right now

BTW, when we woke up today (0700) it was 39º at the campground

I think that is what we used to call "Phase One Recovery Operations."

Recovery from a rough night in the field or as in a rough night out on the economy? I'm guessing economy

Just wanted to say that the family and I had a great time at BamaGanza. This was my granddaughters first camping trip and our 5 year old told her mom it was her most favorite time ever!! They had a blast "helping" us decorating our site and loved the pancakes from Bankston RV breakfast. BamaBob and Dennis and all the other folks did a great job putting this together. Oh, and did I mention HoodRv! Thanks to everyone for doing a great job and making our trip very memorable!

BamaGanza Photos

I am having problems uploading BamaGanza photos to the forum. I understand there may be a technical issue that the techs are working on.

Anyone else having problems uploading photos?

Becca and I really had a great time at BamaGanza. I think the best part was the teamwork in both the kitchen and the grill sergeants on Saturday.

Kudos to Bob, Anne-Marie, Dennis and Sandy for all their hard work in organizing the rally.

We made it to Ozark, Al for the night and we'll do the final 310 miles today. Safe travels to those who have not made it home yet.

We are back home - got back to Crestwood about 6 PM but by the time we got the Creek unloaded, was too tired to get on-line. We really had a great time! We met lots of good folks from all over. Our thanks to Bob, Anne-Marie, Dennis, and Sandy for hosting a great rally. Looking forward to next years Bama-ganza.
