REALLY glad to see such excitement 9 months out from the Rally!!!

I want to sign up now, we had such a good time at last years rally I would hate to miss it this year. Bob I would love to help, and Chuck (Scott) would love to help Dennis grill.

Thanks for all the offers to help folks!! Probably in March-ish, I will want to have a firm in-place Krewe for the Bamaganza!

BamaGanza '15 Update #2!

BamaGanza ’15 Update #2

Greetings Fellow FROGs!

6 Actual (Anne-Marie) and I went to the Noccalula Falls campground today. It could not have been a more perfect outing! The skies were blue, the wind died down, and temperature got up to 60Ί!

We met with one of the camp hosts, Bo, and he gave us the keys to the campground (literally!) so we could look around and take photos as we desired.

Speaking of which, I have uploaded some photos of our day trip to the campground at:

BamaGanza 2015 Info - robertsreflections

The photos are captioned so you will know what your are looking at and the photo gallery is social-media enabled so you can comment on the photos if you so desire.

I have uploaded a PDF of the Campground map, and some local information to the gallery as well.

The campground adjoins the county park that has a mini golf course (maybe we could have a golf tournament?!) and has a narrow gauge train for folks to ride.

Heads Up:

On JUL 1, the Campground will start accepting reservations for BamaGanza (don’t worry, I will remind you again in June!)

It will be really important for you to register as soon as you can. Unlike Mill Creek last year, we may not fill the park (unless we get 126 attendees!) SO we want to make sure that we fill up the “A” and “P” sites ASAP. You will be able to reserve by site number if you so desire.

We also had lunch at Top of The River, a great catfish and seafood restaurant. In fact, this small chain (they have 4 locations ) is one of the BEST places to eat in Alabama (It is in the top 25 places to eat in the state). We will reserve a no host private banquet room for one evening during the rally.

That’s all for now, hope you enjoy looking at the photos!

We've visited this campground and the adjacent park. There's a trail to get below and behind the falls.

Ok, I stuck my neck out a little earlier this evening and told Anne Marie and Bob Bamaganza would be BIG this year and said "mark this down. ..50 rigs minimum" There is plenty of room this year with more than enough time to plan ahead. So help me out with my prediction, I know some folks may have last minute things come up and have to cancel, so that being the case. ....let's get 60 rigs registered for a buffer.
Mark your calendar July 1st call the campground!
Tooooooooooo EASY!

There's a place that houses big cats close to that area. We toured it while there. Google Tigers for Tomorrow for more info on tours.

What's the dates of this rally?

I've stayed at Noccolula several times. The first time was about 20 years ago when the nightly rate was $5! The last time it was slightly more!
A word of caution, the power pedestals on some/many of the sites are in the far rear of the sites. An extension power cable is a necessity.

Agree - we noted that and also noted that you may want to consider the same thing with the COAX for the cable and the water hose!
