The whole floor of the Giant arena is full of vendors and the upper level all around the stadium is campground vendors. There are usually a big Ford engine display out front of Giant center. Lots to see besides RVs

Here's outside shots of the new rig. I took a few inside shots but we still have stuff all over while we get everything the way we want it so the clutter makes for bad images.

We actually weren't going to buy a new one yet but we just fell in love with this layout and the numbers worked for us so we went for it. Slowly getting things put away and in place where we think we will keep things and some stuff we have ideas for but are gonna use the camper before implementing or scrapping those ideas.

Dewinterized today and took it to get inspected. Bought it out of state so they couldn't put a sticker on it at the dealer. All good to go. Might go this weekend for a local trip.

I'm hoping to get out this weekend. Depends on how tomorrow goes in picking up my new truck and when the tow mirrors come, being delivered by UPS. Should have by Wednesday. That will make a lot of work to do before heading out. Readjusting hitch for new truck. Installing aftermarket items, it will probably be close by.

Sorry Pat did not go GM.

I am getting a 2011 Dodge 2011 2500, with 5.7 Hemi, 3.73 rear, 6.5 ft bed, and 4x4. Gives me 2400 lbs cargo capacity. 13,500 lbs towing capacity.

I'm mot one to change out campers often. Had last one for ten years and bought that used. So this truck will serve me well for years.

I can't legitimize the prices of new truck I only use truck for camper and sporadic trips to Lowes. Put less than 10000 miles per year.

I loved my Ford F-150. But the dodge body style I thought looked more stylish than equivalent Ford. I believe I got a fair deal.

If you look back a few post you will see pic. Post #169

I have had 4 pickups and they have all been Fords so this is a leap, but I go where the deal is, and use extra money saved for travels

Got mine home tonight. There are some tweaks I need to do to it but it's a used truck. Tires suck on it will need new ones shortly. After a harder look when I got it home looks like a lot of dry rotting going on. Couple spots need some touch up paint. I will install tonneau cover and mirrors after work tomorrow. May look for a place to camp this weekend going to be great weather.

Yeah it is. I am working through the week end. Off tomorrow and Thursday so I think I'll finish the eternabond, do the smart tiles and get some yard work done.

Good luck with the truck. Not sure the suspension in yours vs our version but rides like a dream. I think it is coils all around.

Yeah it will be alright. Just like everything I buy I expect to spend more money on it to get it to where I want it. For the money I save on the deals I can put some money into it and still be ahead.
