To you FROG Go'ers...........just went through Goshen yesterday. Bypassed the DETOUR sign and DETOURED the DETOUR.
It might.....MIGHT........be 3.208% better than last year. But orange barrels are still ubiquitous. I did not go by the high school or the Fairgrounds.........not even sure you still can.
I suggest Huey Helicopters to get into the Fairgrounds. Just a thought.

Chicky,I agree,so since the Fair has a "Dunking Machine" the "Carney" who runs it is going to set it up in the "Phrog Pond"! Sye and Aquaman have agreed to "Sit on the Seat"!  Youroo!!

There are four restroom / shower buildings on the fairgrounds, and all of them are cleaned daily and checked several other times each day. The fairgrounds staff does a great job with them.
The two newest ones are by Northwest and Grove camping areas, adjacent to the vendor buildings; and near the Northeast and Track camping areas, next to the east gate of the fairgrounds.
The others are adjacent to the Meadow and Grove areas, on the south end of Building A (the building where we eat); and downstairs on the west end of the Elkhart County Community Center, the building where you'll check in at arrival.

If you're coming into Goshen from the north on US33, you no longer have to turn right when you get downtown, pass the courthouse, turn left, go through the residential area, cross the railroad tracks and turn left at the high school.
A new bypass lets you keep going straight until you get to the high school, and turn left on County Road 34 (Monroe Street) to the fairgrounds.
That left turn is a little tight right now during construction, but the whole setup eliminates the railroad crossing on US33 by Penguin Point and the crossing on Highway 4 / Lincoln Avenue coming into downtown from the east.
If you're coming from Middlebury via Highway 13, right on 4, left on CR35, and right on CR34 there is no effect on you. If you're coming north past Wal-Mart on US33, the construction starts right at the high school where you turn right to come to the fairgrounds.

Big Lots GPS got me into the rally about 1PM. Downside, I picked up a roofing nail on the way.
