Bob, thanks for trying to make this as painless as possible and communicating throughout the issue.
I'm not even sure "failure" is the correct word here. The credit card system was doing its job: shutting off what it perceived could be possible fraud with all of those cards trying to buy the same thing at the same time. Suppose someone had hacked a retailer for credit card numbers (and don't tell me that can't happen) and then tried to use all of those cards at once to buy, oh, lets say, jewelry, making purchases on all of the cards at once before the theft was discovered and the card numbers were invalidated. You would want the system to shut down and not let the purchases go through.

OH BOY - Deep do-do

We called at 12 noon sharp and filled out the request and entered all the info.
We then got notice that our card wasn't accepted so we tried again, it was also not accepted. So we tried another card and it went through. I just checked my CC companies and I seem to have THREE charges of $840 each for the rally and side trips.
We took the notice that our card was no good as our fault and we tried again. Nothing in the rejection notice said that our application was in review and to wait. I called the first CC company and asked if any thing was wrong with my card and did I have any thing pending. They answered no so we tried the third time with a different card and that worked.
I know that "S" happens and this was a system malfunction, I also hope that there will be no problem canceling the first two attempts. I only have confirmation on the third attempt. the first two I now have charges on my card, but no confirmation from FROG. I hope this works out quickly.

I am presuming that I have a "Golden Ticket" so I have a question. They rally starts on August 12, when will they start the parking process and will we be given a certain day to arrive. I can not image that 800 units will arrive on the same day. I know search is my friend but I just thought we could talk about something else as we all wait for confirmation.
