I just got back from a fund raising dinner that reminded me of Goshen last year. Our group was at two tables and one guy's wife left the table I was at to sit with "the girls". Well, that moved a guy over to our table.
As things turned out, my table got called up for food third in line. The other table was second to last. There was almost a revolt! Words were flying, complaints being made, threats of divorce for "forcing me to move to the other table"...
I'm again thinking about what bribe could be used so that Bob calls MY table first every day...
BTW, anyone know where Bob bought those plates???

You are Dreaming if you think you will be 31st all week, 1600th would be more like it.

RJ, if this glitch hadn't occurred, we were on track to be sold out in two hours or a little less. There were over 500 transactions in the first hour, which is what triggered the filter on the credit card system.

I just had a brain fart, as fast as the rally sold out do you think some tickets may turn up on eBay.

The tickets are by name and are logged into Bob's secret book. I suppose one could pass themselves off as someone else, but then if they tried to get service, the VIN would show a different owner.

Very few campers are going to get service at the rally. It was just a thought. I have seen tickets that were brought cheap sold for a lot of money. Me I plan on being there, it looks like it will be at least a two week trip for us. We will take our time getting there and back.

I would say "fewer", but not "very few", and I also have seen tickets go for astronomical prices. I bought 4 tickets to a concert, and could have turned around and made 4x the money. Since the tickets were $150 each, it was tempting, but wife wouldn't let me.

NO!
When the registration site re-opens, there will be somewhere around 200 sites left.
We're refunding transactions on the duplicates, so if someone shows up in Goshen with a confirmation not in their own name, and are not on our registration list, we'll just have to assume that they were unfortunately sold a refunded ticket and turn them away.

That also works in Reverse,in 2016 We had tickets to one of the popular tours, but due to the pouring rain we did not go or attempt to resell them. I would have give them to someone who braved the rain to come get them.

And don't be showing up at the rally with a Thor Industries product or other brand not under the Forest River umbrella. We have attack FROGs at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds. The kid's gloves are off this year.
