Spock123, I had his liver, and it is really good, I was surprised. Then I found out he was a Staff Sergeant in the Army in charge of the officers mess. Last time I ate in a mess hall was like 45 years ago. I went in a Navy officers mess last year, how things have changed, they even had white table cloths. Them officers had the best cooks and everything else. He doesnt like to brag, but he is really a good cook and butcher. But I like the idea of SOS myself, that was one of the Army's better breakfestes

Not to change the subject from all this good food talk but tell me about repairs. I have a 2014 unit bought in March 2013. Would it still be elegible? How far do they go with repairs? Have a leaking tub and soft floors (unrelated to the tub) in 2 areas. Also one side of dinette keeps falling apart. There is a sign up list I remember reading about.

The first challenge is to get a golden ticket to the rally; then ask.
Not too many requests were denied regardless of camper age.
It does seem to make a difference if you are the original owner, though it is certainly not a requirement.

Evereddie, your unit is not to old, but its really up to the division, when you sign up there is a forum for you to fill out. It is supposed to be for saftey issues is my understanding, anything like you asked is up to them. Now saying that i have seen them try to help you out. I know they were going to limit the repairs to units under 5 years old. People were really starting to get crazy on them. I also know you have to be the original owner. I'm sure someone can explain this better then me, but just about leave very happy. It's great pr for FR.

This is really not true, a guy with a Georgetown was next to me, being he bought it used the only thing they would do was one safety ideim. He kept waiting for them to take care of the rest and they told him NO. He was not happy and was told by FR owners they would, wrong info.he got from people. When you fill out the form they check the vin # to see if your the original owner per Rockwood Division. Then they decide what they will do. They will not do common maintenance items for sure, when I first started you g they even did that. Things have changed PEOPLE need to use common sense and quit looking for a hand out

PS: Evereddy I did not mean you. I have seen people with 10 year old units 2nd hand come for repairs over the years I have attended, I don't blame FR at all.

What was possible with 200 units became unmanageable with 800.

The only Golden Ticket I have ever seen was a couple who had just spent $1,500,000.00 on a new rig and had to have the floor swept and carpet cleaned. Now that I understand.
