The transaction number doesn't mean anything. They started somewhere north of 200, and then got all screwed up when a number of people had multiple "purchases" in the initial registration, which were subsequently cancelled and refunded.

I don't think the numbers mean a thing. I was done by 12:10 and I have 651.

Actually, it was AquaMan, who frequently posts on this forum. FROG Bob posted that tidbit the first day that registration opened. AquaMan must sleep with his finger on the button. He has been first two years in a row.

BTW, Grumpy64, Sophie, our little white dog, is also a Bichon

Yep, I thought I had remembered Bob stating that, and was looking for this post:

Tours #2, 3, 4, 12 have standby lists at 12:07.

I think the $100 a night without a guarantee of full hookups and no service for older rigs has slowed the interest to attend. Even so, I think eventually it will be a sell-out. I think the real surprise is there are still some tours available.

Well.. my feeling are, if it slowed interest of the people only was concerned about free service... good. More room for people who want to have a good time.

Iím not saying itís just about the service, it is a big factor though. For many RVerís $100 a night isnít small potatoes. Iím sure there are other factors too such as 800 units at a rally is too big for some folks, the meals donít fit some folks dietary needs, 1600 people going to dinner at one time is overwhelming, etc.

Some people may also not realize thereís still room available. A few weeks back I was at my dealer discussing it and he said another family had told them it was already sold out when they couldnít register for it. People whoíve tried when it was closed and never came back and donít read their email from Bob and also donít read these sites might not know about the whole hiccup and that thereís still space.

And yep the problem there are folks that just will not come over here and just depend on the Froestriver web site and really are not steady visitors so they can see if there has been an up date. Later RJD
