I am reaching out to them tomorrow so we will see. My guess they would need the trailer for a few days to make the repairs. Not sure how they'd do it since the sheet metal and plastic is between the trailer and the frame but I'm going to just make a patch with some home depot sheet metal to keep the road grime off and seal the hole with tyvek and new insulation for a vapor barrier.

Tireminder. Worked as designed for both incidents. Rim only leaked when stopped, when moving it held air fine. Tread separation alerted to the drop from 80 to 77 psi but otherwise the tire itself held air for almost 2 hours

There use to be a member that had a Rockwood mini light, he had all 4 rims leaking, Lion Head did replace them all during his Warranty. They should replace it....

I think (hope) I can make up some sheet metal in the garage to make a new inner fender and seal it enough to make it though the season. If I can then the repairs will wait until September.
I realize this may be a bit off topic from the Goshen rally but since we are discussing I think this is good information. I would like to recommend a product that I use, the Eeztire TPMS.

We were on our way home from our Arizona winter getaway last month. I have the Eeztire monitor mounted in the lower left corner of my windshield where it can be easily scanned. I believe this monitor will check over 20 sensors. I have sensors on all my truck (dually) wheels and all four camper wheels for a total of 10. The monitor has a nice big outline of the truck and camper profile with the wheels numbered according to sensor location.

Approaching Monroe, La on Sunday evening I received an audible and visual warning that I was experiencing air pressure loss on one of the camper tires. I was able to safely exit into an empty store parking lot before the tire lost all air pressure and put on the spare. The tire (original equipment) had a hand size piece of sidewall gone and the outer tread was separating.

The very next morning going through Vicksburg, Ms, I again had a warning of rapid air loss (opposite side from before) on a camper tire and was within a mile of an exit and I noticed a truck/tire shop on the service road. This tire also had a large sidewall piece missing with tread separation. I eased into their shop parking lot and purchased a new LT 10 ply just to get me home. They did not have any ST tires but dropped what they were doing to change my tire in the parking lot.

So this monitor, while expensive with 10 sensors, seemed extravagant at the time, it more than paid for itself in that 12 hour period. If either of these tires would have run another 10 or 20 miles, they would have come apart and tore up my camper.

I don't recommend very many products but a good quality TPMS should be in everyone's vehicle IMO. I would not hesitate to buy the Eeztire product again.

I agree 100%, tpms should just be a required accessory! It did not help us in THIS case but has found a nail and the bad rim from earlier in the return trip. This blow out the tire still had almost full pressure. ONCE it let go it drop a few pounds (i'm sure because all the tread went away) and alerted immediately to the 5 psi drop in a second. Tire held pressure at 77 psi for almost 2 hours before going flat.

Sorry to say but no Deuce, have other plans, they were made before the date came out. My next rally will be Gettysburg.

Wow, this thread has died off. For those going to the Goshen Rally and haven’t taken the time to visit the Motorhome Hall of Fame it is a “must do.” They have an outstanding collection of old RVs.

Also if anyone has a few million dollars lying around the Hostetler’s Hudson Auto Museum in Shipshewana will be auctioned off on Aug 4th. I’m glad I had the chance to see this outstanding collection of Hudson Automobiles before it closed.

The best restaurant in Goshen to have a lunch is…nope, nope, nope, I’m not going to tell you about this place. It doesn’t have the seating capacity to risk telling you about this place.

Note to self, Follow Oakman. I doubt he will notice that big Blue truck following him

That's a shame about the Hudson collection. Very glad we got to see it. Also not too far away is a Studeabaker collection to see. Also very nice. And it you like Trains, there is one of them to go see!

Well, if you're going to making the rounds of the museums in the area, it wouldn't be complete without also stopping in to the super hero museum:

The service request form is now ready and available online. As shown on the FROG Rally registration page and on several items on the "Events" page, service will be available for original owners of 2016 and newer model RVs at the event. Up to two items can be requested, and all service is at the discretion of each division.

You can put in a service request at 2018 FROG Rally Service Request. Note that you will need to provide your complete VIN on the form.

Changes to existing requests can also be made there. Changes to existing forms will replace, not add to, previously submitted requests.

My XLR is on ‘09, but I was wondering if I can pay to have a fuel pump replaced?
It is the pump for the toys.

Tucson Joe, I'd contact XLR directly on that to see if there's anything that can be done before or after the FROG Rally. I'm only able to deal with items at the event, and only under the guidelines set by the corporate office.
