I'm sure that little 'blip' at registration probably turned some people away. According to FrogBob, it was on the pace to sell out in like 3 or 4 hours.

Last month it wasn't sold out and I believe someone just registered last week. I think the 2 year rule made a lot not register!

That might be true... Considering some dealers are months away with warranty work and may not even do the work since many buy from far away to save money... The factory was probably the best option. But now that it has it cap on it.. Not worth it for some I suppose.

That is true, but it was all us die hearts that love giving Bob and Cindy a hard time, but I know they love it. That's why you get 500 in the first 2 hrs. Warranty work was just iceing on the cake, but it makes no difference to the die hearts.

We were going to go then came the 2 year rule. That did make the difference.

I wanted to go, but there was,a conflict. I like going to the scratch and dent place down the road to make imp r movement mods. Got some really good deals before. No doubt about having a good time with Bob and Cindy. Have been to several events with them and others!

We still have spots available -- last time I looked I think it was around 70 or so. There's no doubt that there have been some who have chosen not to register, or who have decided to cancel, because of the limit on service.

I still think that we'll end up full, but the scenario has been different this year. Last year, btw, there was also a limit (2014 or newer and original owner), although I know that some exceptions were made. We wanted to be sure that everyone was even more aware of the guidelines right from the start this year, which is why we posted them in so many places in advance, including both at the top of the registration form and in the restatement that had to be acknowledged on the registration itself.

I think that the FROG Rally is a great event and a great value, even without the bonus of "free" service being added, and I'm glad that so many others do, too.

I think your talking about the salvage yard, that is a great place to pick things up, that's a must stop for sure.

Interested in the salvage yard. What do they sell? Do you know the name of it? Is it auto salvage, RV supplies or a thrift store?

Make a right out of the Rally and 7 miles down the road on the right is the place. Don't remember the name, but you can't miss it with the directions I gave.

I replaced all the ceiling fixtures with nice metal bases and glass globes for under $30. A pair of Dometic assemblies for an awning for $50 and several other needs!

The salvage yard is Rainbow General Store and RV Surplus. Amish run the debit machine on the generator all day and light the store with LED edison base lamps. Kind of neat place all the boys have bowl cuts like my grandma gave me when I was a kid.

Hey WD do you have room for supplies for your medicine healing session? Or do you purchase local supplies from the Chalet?

If you are filling up on Diesel the Speedway truck lanes are cheapest and pay at pump no CVOR number needed.

I do both, but in Indiana it's about 1/3 less to buy then here in Virginia, the reason is that all stores are owned by the State, that gives them the right to over charge, so when I go there I buy it by the case, learned that from Youroo[emoji106] [emoji41]

Hell to the yeah! If you go to the International just to get "free" service, I think you are missing out on one of great events of each and every year. But to those who choose not to come because they cannot get their rigs worked on for "free" anymore. Good! More room for those who want to come for the real reasons. Great times, great friends and great memories.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I've never once gone to the rally for service. In fact, I've never submitted a service request form ahead of time. Any service that has been done at the rally (thanks again for it) has been things that happened to break on the way there, like the first year when our fridge died packing it to go there. Or the year they knocked on my door and said "Your air conditioner isn't supposed to sound like that, mind if we take a look?"

The rally has never been about service for us. It's been about camaraderie. The only reason we're not going this year has been because we couldn't get that week off this year. (Sucks having to still work...)
