The rally starts on Sunday, August 12 at dinner time. Your first night of "FROG" camping is Sunday.

Parking operations will open on Thursday morning, August 9. You can come in on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (your choice.) There are no "assigned" days that you must arrive. The fairgrounds will charge you for each night that you stay prior to Sunday night - you must pay them when you arrive for your extra nights. In years past, people have kind of spread their arrival out over those 4 days, so that the parking team has not been slammed all at once. Saturday and Sunday are, obviously, the busiest days, but we've managed without too much back-up. So, it is really up to you. EARLY ARRIVAL DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A FHU SITE. But, as I said, you are welcome to come in on any of those 4 days.

If arriving early, please call the Elkhart County 4-H fairgrounds and make arrangements with them for early arrival. Then, when you get in, we'll get you parked and direct you to the office where you will pay for your "early arrival" nights.

Those with a pending, I would not worry at all! If you read Bobs post, he’s going through each entry and getting them in order as received. Once all 400+ are reviewed (there are those who have multiples that will have to be deleted (SYE), then the emails will be released and everyone will get their confirmation. Rest assured the order is there, the processing just hasn’t taken place. This is what I’m told from a merchant processor.

Thanks to the train that stops traffic the parking guides have no problem keeping up with the flow of units. The big thing to remember is to pay full attention to the greeters when you first come into the fair grounds. They are the ones to keep everything going smoothly.

Rally Registration Update

We are working through a problem that occurred shortly after registration for the FROG Rally opened today.

Our credit card processor was swamped with over 500 transactions in the first 30 minutes or so, triggering a filter that created an alert status set up to prevent spamming or hacking of their system. The alert put transactions on hold until they could be manually reviewed and approved. I learned of this filter when I contacted the credit card processor.

We approved the transactions, but in the meantime some members entered new transactions, creating duplicate orders and duplicate payments in some instances.

We have contacted our reservations provider, Event Bee, to determine that the transactions were properly recorded and that confirmations are being created as was indicated to you on the transaction screen. We have temporarily suspended further registrations to prevent the event from selling out while we do our verifications and work to refund any duplicate payments.

I apologize for the alert-status and for any confusion or concern that it has created. Please be assured that we are working diligently to correct the situation. Thank you for your understanding and your patience.
