Glade you live close for the up coming grand baby. Mine live to far away to enjoy. Enjoy while you can. My oldest is 22 and never got to enjoy like I should have. Later RJD

Yea I’m kinda looking at a bunkhouse. It would sure be nice to take granddaughter on a camping trip. Took her to Disney World but not in a camper and that was a mistake. A camper is so much better than a small room at a resort in Disney

I'm inclined to agree, but I've been having difficulty convincing DW of the same. Her issue isn't so much the concept of having the camper at Disney, it's the 20 hours of driving vs the 1.25 hours of flying. Instant gratification to be able to be at Disney the morning of your first vacation day instead of 3 days into your vacation.

It is tough when you are limited in travel time!

I would never buy a bunk house anything for the grand kid that mite go with you. They aren't in great demand IMHO. RV's are for two adults only

Tend to agree as most campers have an extra bed. And then when the grand kids gone what do you do with a bunk house. Later RJD

Great for hauling model airplanes. Lay them in there, cover with blanket, use a couple of straps to secure them. Safe and sound.

We have a bunk house and this is our second one. When we travel with the grandkids it proves to be a great quiet space they can call their own. When not having the grands with us it is tremendous storage space.
To us, the bunk house was the only way to go for us. To each his own.

Each have their own situation for example, my kids are only 7 & 8, bunkhouse is a must for us. But, I can see the point for not having one if it’s only an occasional demand.

It would be so nice to take my little granddaughter camping, we have tons of fun. Besides by the time she grows up I’ll be dead or no longer camping or both. She has a egg donor and a sperm donor for parents but most of all she has grandma and me who love her and enjoy her

That sounds so right in my heart. Perhaps you and grandma should make it a point to stick around to see her get mesmerized by finding a cool looking bug while camping. Nothing beats watching a child learn.
Safe travels...

Just checked rally site. It's still open. I'm curious how many more have signed up and how close to full they are. FROG Bob, any update?
Really looking forward to our first trip to this rally this year!

I wonder how many are waiting for an email saying it's open because they don't follow the forum.

If they don’t follow the forum then I would take it for granted they would be checking the official FROG website. The re-opening of registration was announced on Facebook too.

If someone really wants to go they would be checking everywhere. Just reread post 1474 it's pretty clear about the reopening dates. I'm sure they'll be plenty of folks to meet even if registration doesn't hit 800.
