AUG 12-18 2018 - Goshen, Indiana - FROG International
Just contacted the fair grounds to let them know I was planning on arriving on the 11th instead of the twelfth, so how do I pay the fair ground, they told me that she would notify FROG and deal with paying extra day when we get their. She took my name an cell phone #. Said I would be in assigned spot already listed. Is this correct, being it’s our first time.

When you get settled at the fair grounds, go to the grounds office and pay then/there.

Use Fairgrounds Gate 2. that will bring you onto a big parking lot at the main entrance to the fairgrounds. Members of the parking Team will be there to direct you and get you into your parking space (you'll get your parking assignment at the FROG table on that big parking lot.) Once you have been lead to your parking area by a golf cart, and parked with the assistance of the on-site Parking Team, and set up and settled in, you can go to the fair office and pay for your extra night of parking. Flag down anybody driving a golf cart and they'll get you to the right place to pay for your extra camping.
Welcome...you're gonna' have a ball.

Update on Volunteers:
I sent out e-mails to parking team members on Friday, and have heard back from most. There will be another going out regarding registration team and shuttle drivers.
The parking team is made up of about 2/3 experienced members and about 1/3 new members, including some first-timers, so that we always have a mix of experienced folks and fresh blood. Please don't be upset or offended if you weren't selected for the parking team, and know that we will still be more than happy to have you volunteering on shuttle, registration, rally office, bus loading, and many of the other tasks that are so essential throughout the week.

If there’s chairs flying around ‘inside’ the pavilion, are you sure it wasn’t a Poltergeist?

You know how bad it is when Mike sends the parking team home early. This year Bob & Cindy guaranteed sunshine.

Coming from the west on E. Monroe St. be sure to use Gate 2 and drive passed Gate 1. I think every year someone gets fooled and turns at Gate 1. I guess that's probably because there is a right turn lane at Gate 1. Use gate 2 and you'll be a happy camper.
Here's a picture of where you don't want to turn. Don't be fooled just because you can see some campers parked at the fairgrounds. Please continue passed gate 1.
Here's what you will see as you approach Gate 2. It's hard to see but in the photo there is a white van is exiting at Gate 2. If you click on the bar at the top of the photo it will display full size and the van is easier to see.

From this we might need rain gear for parking this year!

Goshen newbie question. I know vendors are there and will do installs of their equipment like Steps etc. But will vendors do things like new A/C units?

Anybody that thinks a weather report a month out, needs help! They can't get today correct sometimes or tomorrow let alone a month out. And yes, anywhere you live in this country, in the summer, you can/will get thunderstorms! That's why there are raincoat and umbrellas!
