As you know, Laura's illness required something with a LOT more cargo space than our small 5th wheel. We looked long and hard at a Berkshire and we were sold on the Berkshire XLT 43A. In fact we had actually had one from TotalRV "in the bag"; though with a loan.
Laura's new kidney took away the immediate need. Our 2010 Flagstaff 8526RLWS is just perfect for us (less all her supplies), so we decided a few more years of saving will make the motorhome a debt free purchase and it will most likely come standard with a lot of the stuff that are extras today.
When it comes time, we will be buying it from them. They were awesome and their "one price" no haggle deal was an eye opener. (SHAMELESS plug and do not feel guilty saying so.)
Gonna be "friendly" at Gettysburg with 5 adults and Bella Monday - Wednesday following the Rally. Bringing the spare inflatable sofa mattress just (in case).

That is a great floor plan, and the new Motorhome will be all that sweeter, when you get her!

So, this will be our first FROG rally, we just bought a FR3 32DS in July of 2016. It's been used more than I figured we'd use it but that's a good thing. After the rally we are heading to Whitewater, WI to see my daughter. I've a quick question. The rally ends on Saturday, if we choose to leave on Friday, how much of a pain in the backside might that be? Thanks

Shouldn't be an issue at all. Some folks start leaving as soon as Wednesday. Those are the folks that just came to the rally to get factory service. When you leave take it slow on the roads so you don't run over any pedestrians or shuttles.

Exactly! It's never a problem if you need to leave early.

Nope, Pine Rock was right. If you look really close you can see the laser in my hands. I had the trajectory from the top down to Rpod village calculated within 6". I hope they are in the same spot this year, otherwise we're gonna need a bigger rope

We are in Alaska right now and Garmin sent me down the wrong road, a bad place to turn around, DW said what you going to do I said turn around. It wasn't the first time being lost and having to turn around in a tight spot.

Not good, Spock. We will be in Alaska next year. We use the Garmin RV760. Our rig is bigger than yours. Should I get the new Garmin 770?

No, I have the RV760 and it works great. I just got the wrong address. I really wasn't planning on driving that far. I got to learn how to set up the GPS coordinates on the Garmin. One thing getting lost teaches you is learning how to back a camper. We are staying at Northern Lights RV park in Dawson Creek BC. You really can't get lost as long as you have a full tank of fuel. But getting lost does teach one how to back up, the more you get lost the better you become at backing up. Instead of telling people I got lost I just tell them I took the scenic tour. I got lost in Goshen

Are you camping at the fairgrounds now?
Always thought it would be a great place to go, even when the Rally wasn't going on.
