Sye on the same note "Barnum & Bailey" had their Last Show over the W/E! Since the Tiki Hut seems to GROW every year why not buy and Jump to the "BIG Tent" and you could even have "Rock Bands/Tent Revival/Brew Pub/Distillery", the Fairgrounds has tractors, you would Not need to bring the Elephants for Tent setup! Youroo!!

I have an appointment with the Amish Family Service center for work on my Cedar Creek after FROG, Is there a chance that I could stay at the fairgrounds a few days or should I start looking for somewhere else to stay

I called to come in early and stay past the rally, staying until Monday and they said ok but another group is coming in on August 16.

I think I'm going back to the flea market after the rally and stay there a few days, the train is further away and it's close to Rise and Roll (the crack house)

The group that's coming in starting on the 16th is considerably smaller than we are, and will only be using the FHU sites. Staying a few days shouldn't be a problem.

If you'll call Diane or Bev at the Fairgrounds, (574) 533-3247, they should be able to get you set up.

Newbie question here, when arriving should we go ahead and unhook our TOAD since they will be trying to get everyone parked quick. Also will their be room for you to park your TOAD at your rv location?

Right when you pull in the parking lot, there is a place to unhook your toad then get back in line.

While you may not be able to park right at your rig in every case, you will be very close to your site.

We DO ask that once you get your rig parked, move your toad or tow vehicle away from the parking action until everyone in your row has parked. Congestion in the row during the parking operation makes a very dangerous situation for everyone.

The chances for a mishap increases markedly with a less confident driver, new parking helper, and vehicles parked haphazardly. Please do not leave your site until the folks on both sides of you are in and parked. You may need to move your toad or truck, retract your awning, or move your belongings while we maneuver your neighbor. Don't worry everyone should have room for a great Rally experience!

If you are parked in a field with only electric and water, after you are connected:

1) Fill your fresh water tank and turn on your water pump. The water pressure has been great and your pump should never run; however, if there happens to be a pressure sag while you are showering, the pump will kick in to keep you suds free. If something goes wrong with the supplied water, you will have some for normal operation until our maintenance team can get the situation resolved.

2) Water heat and fridge on propane. Power has not been a problem at the 30 amp sites, but with a maximum load of campers, the potential for low voltage due to an overloaded circuit is certainly there. No sense making it worse for your neighbors at the end of the circuit.

3) Bring a crate for your pets. If there will be maintainers inside your rig, your pets will need to be crated for everyone's safety.

X2 on what Herk7769 said. In some areas maneuvering room can be tight so please dont park your toad by your rig until your row is filled in and the sites across from you are filled. Once everyone is parked you will probably have room for your toad at your site. Some motorhome owners dont realize how much maneuvering room a fifth wheel pulled by a crew cab truck needs. I was amazed how snarky some people could get when we had to ask them to temporarily move their truck or toad.

Some areas of the Grove parking area are tight even without a toad or tow vehicle parked by their RV.
