By the time this trip to Alaska is over I'll need a lot more than two items fixed at the rally.

I’ve talked to a couple of friends who told me that the Alaskan roads can be very tough on trailers. Has this been your experience Spock?

So Mike....do you sit on the Risen N Roll FB page just waiting for these kinds of breaking news stories or did you get an advanced tip. In any case, its just one more excuse for us to visit the high holy land of health food.

One of my "top secret undercover spies" (not youroo and not F.R.O.G. Bob) sent me that video. I just re-posted it as a public service announcement.

Problem: The cinnamon donuts need to be eaten warm. If you put them in the freezer to keep the ice cream frozen, you ruin the donuts.

Solution: Order them one at a time, and eat the entire dozen at one visit to the bakery.

Unintended consequence: Diabetic coma

But just think of the "sweet" dreams you will have while in the coma !!

Looking at video I think a dish & fork might be advisable.

Anything from there is great eating. This will be the same I'm sure.

Besides if you think about it that is the world most perfect food. All three major food groups are represented: Grease, Dough & Sugar.

Not so much the camper but Silverado is not doing good. The curtains have fell twice but that was on American roads, I'm getting good at putting up curtains. The roads on the Alaska highway has been quite good, better than Alaska roads. From Whitehorse to to the Alaska border were a little bad but overall the roads are pretty good.

Hi,

We are first timers who are registered for the Rally. Two questions.

1. My wife is on the waiting list for the quilt tour. How will we be able to tell if she has moved up far enough to be able to go?

2. I'm still not clear if -- and if so how -- we will be able to park with other Silverback owners, as paid members of the Cedar Creek group. I understand the system of sequential parking as folks arrive. But there also have been references to members in groups such as ours being aggregated.

Western civilization won't collapse if we can't do it, but it seems like it might be a bonus. Anything concrete on this yet?

Thanks.

Most of the Cedar Creeks will be parked in the infield of the horse track, most likely luck of the draw where you will be parked when you arrive ( hobo parking ) but it is a short walk to see other club members and make new friends

If you want to be parked next to a friend, plan on arriving together.

The Cedar Creek products are parked on the infield of the race track. Since you said you are a member of the Cedar Creek Club then you are special and will get put in with the other club members and probably get a full hookup site near the pavilion in the infield of the race track.

Hi,

Appreciate the parking info. Just wanted to be sure there wasn't anything else I needed to do, other than identify ourselves as CC group members back when we registered.

And lo and behold, we just got an email that Maureen has been added to the quilt trip. Bravo!!!

Thanks for the help.

Dag, I think I'll join the Cedar Creek club if I can get full hookups
